Well my seeds have arrived from a land far, far away and I'm ready to start them soon. I am going to crack them in water, then place in rockwool under fluros (or should I put them straight under a 600W HPS that is way up high?). Then grown in tubs with clay balls and a recirculating system. My question is...when the seedlings have filled out the rockwool with roots, do I just place the rockwool into the clay ball medium or do I have to remove the rockwool? Jimbo

Hey all, i took some clones off my plants that were 4 weeks into flower, 6 days ago. A couple got abit droopy and they sort of recovered but now i've got yellowing patches on the leaves and tips. Is this because they havent rooted yet? I used jiffy cubes with clonex and im sure the cubes are not under or over moist. They have been foliar fed every 2-3 days with a week nute solution. Temps have been a little high 25-30C and also using a heat mat. they arent looking well, help would be much appreciated.

The reason I ask is because lets say you buy ten big bud seeds. You veg them, take clones of each one, put them into flower and then carry on with your best female. (normal practice) If you were to seed them and with the seed put a hundred or so outside you could choose out of a hundred and you'd be more likley to get that freak yielder that your after. Just youd have to bring it back indoors, reveg and clone it. So thats my question. Is there any down side to the quality of the plants you will get coming from a reveged mother. Some times with my outdoor crosses I get wicked, freaky yielding, stand alone fems. Would be good to clone these. Cheers fellow green thu…

So thanks to a bunch of your help, my first grow in over 5 years was a success. So i'm turning to you guys for more help .......I took clones about a month and a half ago, and my question is: Are the clones too old to use now? They are definitely root bound and look ready, but will i be better off taking new clones? Should clones be transplanted right away when root bound, or can they sit for a good while and wait for you to use them? Thanks in advance for all the help. - yota

Can I take the top 3 inches offa the plant and use that as a clone since the plant is only 12cm tall(5 nodes) at moment?...

First off we need the equipment: Plastic wrapped rockwool cubes that have been soaking in PH corrected water, sharp scissors, rooting hormone (I use Clonex Purple), a drink bottle cap and a good marking pen and a humidity dome. The drink bottle lid is to pour some Clonex into, that way I don't contaminate the whole bottle by dipping the cuts into that.

My very clever partner has built the below pictured 'Machine' to grow his clones . . . check it out! If anyone's interested, we're gonna take pics of production from said 'Machine' and we'll post a 'How To' as it's so dead easy . . . and seemingly (to this point) exceptionally effective!

hey everyone I normally cut clones from my 2 plants 2 weeks before I start flo. I don't have a mother, I just clone the 2 on veg that are next to go to flo. It normally takes 2 weeks to root under 2 x 36 fluoro's then I turn all 8 x 36 fluoro's on to veg for 5-6 weeks, Then they go under a 600 hps This has always worked well for me, good yield and the ultimate of ultimate smoke. what I would like to know, is after they root, instead of going to full 8 lights and full strength nutes, can I keep them on low light (2x 36 watt fluoro's) and half strength nutes (1.0 ec) for 4 weeks, to slow growth right down, without any detrimental effects thanks aussie1

I spent a lot of time looking into growing Lowryder before finally taking the plunge. To be honest I had heard so much negative press about them, I was having a hard time convincing myself that the price was worthy for a strain most people thought only a novelty plant as opposed to a serious indoor proposition. I was speaking with the guy who runs Seedsman seeds in the UK, and he offered me a pack of Lowryder 2 free of charge. The new Lowryder which has been crossed with a Brazilian strain (Santa Maria) in a bid to improve taste and stone! I said "yes" and "thanks" all in the same breath and while I waited for them to arrive I started to do some research online. I…

Where in the hell does everyone get this 'salt-free' soda water? I've looked everywhere for it and I can't find it (no Bi-Lo around my parts...) What should I be looking for in the ingredients? There are no brands that display SALT FREE on the label. Jimbo

Yo fellow growers, tokers and THC lovers, i spend a lot of time researching the forums looking for all the info on good grows. I haven't had the balls for a full grow, too friken paranoid about getting caught! Been smoking over 20 years and i enjoy it heaps, it really needs to be legalised, i get great benefits of pain relief and love to be bent! I have 4 girls in pots travelling all over the back yard for the best sunlight and covered up at night. My question is: Is it possible to clone stems off the mother plant that are in head to grow them indoors under lights? I will be setting up a wardrobe grow soon, but these babies need to grow and swell now, any idea's would be…
