Hey everyone, Im thinking about growing some organic hydro using SuperGrow/SuperBloom and Bud Res as booster... Anyone tried any of these before? Im just looking at my hydro shops catalogue they are about the price as normal hydro nutes... I like the idea of organic hydro looks easyier then chemical hydro and you get nice organic buds... In the Description for Bud res it says "Natural product with flower inducing stimulants. Improves Flavour and fragrance. Use weekly at start of bloom until buds open then use superbloom foir rest of flowering" So it must be made by same company. In this catalogue is also Superflowers which sounds like the same compnay but i…

Where am i going wrong, i took clones 10 days after starting 12/12 light cycle and they didn't do anything the leaves stayed green but no roots. They were treated with clonex and put in rockwool cubes that were dipped in 25% nute then squeezed out,and nothing happened for 2 months. Now i have 2 beauties 10 days into 12/12 light and i want to get some clones going from one of these. If anyone can offer advice on where i maybe going wrong that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi, When I woke up this morning I could smell this feral smell, but Couldnt find where it was coming from, Anyways as I have smoke detectors in my grow room, I wasnt too worried, but also couldnt find the source. UNTILL I got home and went to test my tds and ph, then I noticed the nutrient heater in my res had exploded, theres glass bloody everywhere, Im lucky theres no fire. So what the deal, the water was empty and that causes the glass to explode, BUT I checked it before I went to bed and the res was full of water?? I can only think that the heater fucked up, boilt the nutes off and then exploded cause it was dry. damn I hope the plants are ok,

Anyone got any experience with brix meters? My mate, the one who grows has been given a new product to try called "Brix Plus". It apparently helps retain optimum brix levels(carb0hydrate) when drying. george Cevantes has been advertising Brix Meters of late as well...previously they were the domain of wine growers.. here is some info from his site: Regards Kash

I got this idea that I'm thinking of trying. put a rooted plant in a small 50cm net pot with clay balls in a bucket about 15L, or maybe smaller, or put a few of them sog style in the lid of a rubbermaid type container. Instead of having a bubbling solution you just periodic drip feed through the top of the netpot. The plant bucket is higher than the res, so the water drips through the roots that are just hanging in the bucket, the water then drains back to the res. the reason I thought of this is that I want a system that makes it quick and clean to root prune mums. With those little 50cm netpots from the hydro shops that are cone shaped it would be easy as anything…

Just bought a digital camera the other month so I thought i'd put it to some use. Here is my grow box, which I use for veging clones, mother plants and seedlings. I have got two mothers Haze Special, Golden Skush and some Early Durban, Afghani #1 seedlings in there at the moment. The box is 4' long 3' high and 1.3' deep it is on caster wheels so I can move it around. There are 4 36W 4' flouros providing the light, i use a combination of cool white and daylight tubes. There is 1 120mm inlet fan blowing 80cf/m in, while hot air is vented through piping out the bottom. Both the inlet and outlet are fitted with inbuilt light traps.

Hey everyone Just read THIS THREAD. It brings up some VERY good points about how good flushing .really. is.... Everyone knows hydro reacts alot quicker so can starving it of food for 2 weeks really be that good? How would we feel with no food for 2 weeks.... Has anyone used that Ozi tonic stuff... ment to be for flushing your plants... Im thinking about getting some. Has anyone used MonsterBud by the same company its a flower additive you add it around the 5th week i think so i guess its like PK 13:14 Has anyone tried flushing for just 5 days or so? If hydro reacts so quick 5 days should be heaps. Cheers
