Hi all, I've heard about large hydroponic setups using pc's with special cards or printer port attachments which control the greenhouse/growroom systems like irrigation, lights, ph, ventilation, co2, temperature and so on. It would be much easier than using a separate timer for each item, and the pc would be able to monitor the grow in a much more accurate and direct way... So are there such cards out there for the small scale, home growers? I'm interested in using my pc, or another, separate, and probably older pc to control the grow, but I'm not sure how to go about it, or if it's even possible. Anyone here using this or even know about it?

Hi ppl, my plant is 45 days on 12/12 cycle, 600hps the buds are still white, strain unknown, how much longer will it take 'till the colour starts to change and is this a quick change or gradual one,when should i stop the fert. and feed just plain water, i haven't gotten this far with a grow and don't know how quick these chages will be, i'm scarred to stuff it up now. Hi y'all Can anyone recommend a good self watering system to fit into a bathtub - under a 400w light, we are struggling to handwater in perlite. Must is to be cheap and easy to use as we are beginners.... Thanks for your help Cheers

Hi all, just a quick question regarding early growth. WE are beginners and are about to embark on our first real grow from seed indoors. Here's our setup: we have a 400 w hanging above a bathtub/shower, and the entire shower/bath is enclosed in white reflective sheeting. There is an exhaust fan in the roof of the room (which works alright) and a small desk fan in the grow area sitting on edge of bath. We are planning to use perlite, which we are using now but are planning on getting an easy to use automatic system. any recommendations there would also be appreciated. But my major query was this, once our seeds have germinated, what is the best way to grow them u…

G'day all, Im new to all this and i have been ready on the site for a few weeks and I intend on growing. I was looking at pipeman's bubble buckets method and that seemed interesting, though Im not sure if that is the one a new grower good want. Also I just wanted to know what does "pistils " mean? How are you going with growing pipeman. do u reccommend your method for a newbie? Thanks Billy

Hey guys I have been reading your posts and you guys (and girls) in Aus. are some real stoners. Im starting up a new indoor garden and i wanted to know if anyone knows were I can get some some lights and equip. cheap. On the internet. I am using aeroponics and hydroponics for my garden. There seem to be alot of experienced growers in Aus., think u can help a fellow stoner in the U.S. I actually have a hydro shop in my town but they want $400 for a 600watt MH. Thats a joke. Also in the US its impossible to acquire good strains and clones. Get the hint. KaliKing

Hey all, A few members have been hassling for this info....sorry its not so indepth for pics etc but rushed for time.... Anyhow what you will need 20-100litre tub/tank water heater (size to suit) Air pump/stone water pump (600 ltr/hour rio type) length of garden hose and attachment length of 1"pvc pipe (size to suit) 1 or 2 1" hose clamps Fill tub with required amount of water (60-75% of volume recommended) side walls of tub may need some supports or straps to stop distortion of tubs due to temp changes... Add air stone, air/water pump and heater to water... (2L of boiling water per 10L to speed up warming process) heater may need to be mouted off …
