I just got some ducksfoot, and my plan is to put it in my garden next year. I'm looking for some suggestions on companion plants which would help with stealth. Any suggestions on garden plants (peppers, tomatoes, herbs, etc.) which would hep disguise some tied-down ducksfoot in an outdoor vegetable garden would be appreciated. Also, has anybody tried a ducksfoot x abc cross? I had some abc, but lost it. I would love to have the stealth of abc with increased potentcy to plant freely in my yard. Since Emery is out of abc, any leads on some abc seeds would be appreciated. I'll gladly share any crosses I create. Thanks for any help. --Boots

News.com.au Story. A system using SMS mobile phone messages to warn people about sniffer dogs has outraged NSW police. NSW Police Minister Michael Costa slammed civil libertarians behind the scheme, saying the government was seeking legal advice on whether the operation could be shut down. But for people wishing to dodge police drug and gun sniffer dogs it will be as simple as registering onto www.snifferdogalert.com. Users will get detailed mobile telephone message warning of the exact location of police sniffer dog operations, garnered from "volunteers" in the field. Council for Civil Liberties president Cameron Murphy said the system was similar to systems al…

State Flying Squad

I was reading about some busts in Gympie following a Drop in a Druggie campaign by the Southern Region Pigs. It mentioned they had support from the State Flying Squad so I did a bit of a search on these dickless wonders and found a couple of links worth sharing. They have 14 officers to cover all of Queensland and were formed only recently by that midget Peter Beattie. Alternative News. Now this article below might seem unrelated but its actually both relevant and bad news in my opinion. To help with policing overseas places like the Solomon Islands a large flying force is being set up composed of federal police. The reason being that we already send flying police …

Found this in a search on crop detection. A US company was testing it back in 2000. Spectral Camera Spots Marijuana Plants from High Elevations. Wednesday, June 7, 2000 New method for the automatic detection of marijuana crops using an aircraft-mounted sensor. This represents a tremendous advance over current visual inspection methods. It can identify crops that are often cultivated in dense forests and other hard-to-reach areas. Based on a Hyperspectral Sensor System, which ORINCON developed with Rancho Bernardo, Calif.-based Surface Optics Corporation, the new “pot-buster” camera can detect marijuana plants from an elevation of 5,000 feet, and from several hundred yar…

i put a some of my seedlings outside coz we're having a nice stretch of weather down here in melbourne. i checked on them the other day and there was one less and a chewed up bit of a leaf that looked strangly familiar. i'm not keen on the idea of chicken wire. i've been spraying deoderant arround there to give it a 'human' smell maybe dettering some of the wildlife. but i was looking for a spray, powder or something that'll actually do the job without hurting the plants. Anyone know a good one?? Pete

Looking to grow in the scrub this year and i was just wondering what is the best way to do it. Thinking of spreading the plants out so that if 1 gets found the others may not. Problem is how do i keep the kangaroos and rabbits away. Was told blood and bone will deter the rabbits but what i guess i am really asking is there any other way of stopping them besides putting chicken wire around them. Wouldnt the plants stand out more to people walking through the scrub with wire around them? Any help would be great. Cheers

i woke this morning to hear from a neighbour that a visitor he had seen my plants and was making comments like "theres about four plants there, they shouldve been picked two weeks ago" comments of this idiotic calibur do tend to worry me a fair bit, especially when this persons son is the local copper, and i don't know if you've heard but in nsw recently bob carr is all over crops and drugs etc and theres been heaps of busts lately so i would imagine a young hot headed copper would love to nail down a local crop... or he could be a decent bloke.. theres only two plants but they are quite large and getting a fair bit smelly getting their buds together and still have 2…

Did you skinny-dip or sunbathe topless beside your pool this summer? Chances are, your carefree frolics were caught by a camera in the sky. The particular sentence that caught my attention was: "A by-product of locating land is the ability to precisely locate people," he said. "For example, aerial photography can identify which weeds are growing on a particular farmer's property". Rest of the article here: Voyeur-sats raise privacy concerns.
