hey guys title captures it all the area is sort of an extended wardrobe 1200mmx1200mmx2200mm high i have a few lighting options and my ventilation is covered with 2 x 150mm ducted in line fans 1x 250 continuosly rated lenco exhaust 1x 90mm inline fan so im hoping with them ill be able to cope with any heat issues and my options for lighting are single 400w hps single 600w hps 2x 400w hps i can knock up a couple of shiny stainless steel reflectors for the 2x 400w but otherwise ill house the single 400w in a large adjustashade and the 600w in a 1000w china man so guys and gals wat do u think will give me the best lighting for me area producing a healthy yield without…

Hi all, Getting to the pointy end of buying my centrifugal fan. Going with a Fantech 150mm centrifugal. Problem is no-one appears to want to sell me one..or at least you'd think so. hydro-aqua-pet.com.au have the best price by far $222 +shipping. However, I've found their service is an absolute joke. Days waiting for email replies. Even sent them a flame email over 2 days ago...still no reply. Gooses. Doesn't exactly instill any confidence. Gday guys I took this pic the other day with the lights off. I noticed that the center of the plant seems to be a little lighter than the rest. My lights are never closer than 10/12 inches. Could this stilll be caused by the heat? Cheers

Hello all, Would really appreciate some input on what fan I should buy. I've done lots of research and have narrowed it down to 2. Now deciding which one. A bit of info - growroom is 1.5m3, 400w HPS, 3 x 100mm passive intakes. Currently have 200mm bathroom fan as exhaust. I've recently bought a Phat carbon filter -150mm, and now just need to get the centrifugal fan. Here's a pic of the 2 fans. Both are similarly priced, so that is not a factor. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When I'm told 85 degrees f max temp does that mean the room temp or under the lights? 2 disele in 52 ltr dwc cabinet 56"x31"x21"(old uprite freezer) 3 x150 watt hps My temps under the lights are 90%f or so and 60-65%f in the cabinet. thanx kdub

Hey all. I'm running 4 Lucragrow HPS in my flower room. My buds are really fluffy. When I compare them with a friend who has the same strain, hers are more solid. She uses no PGR's. I'm using Advanced nutes and she's using Dutchmaster. The only thing i can think of that may do it is she has HPS and M.H lamps in her flower room. Anyone who has used only HPS on it's own then tried adding M.H care to comment on thier findings?

how far away shold the light be from the plants? I'm pretty sure i've heard ppl say before that u just put the light as close to the plants as u can without burning them.... is that for HPS and fluruos? atm i am just using Glo Lux 36 watt tubs over a few tomato plants that came up. (my little experiemant till i can get some mj seeds GRRRRRRRRR). anyway. I'm jsut not sure on the light sich. thanks

Hi again stoners, It's going to get very hot here soon... I'm buying a cool tube from hydromasta.com, for $110 (ouch - a little too pricey, but they're discreet & friendly gougers, which is worth the xtra cash i guess). My set up is vertical, using 400 hps, room size is 3' x 3' x 6'. I was wondering if anyone has any practical experience & suggestions for the best fan size & type to hook up to it. Preferred brands? Suppliers? I'm thinking that I will hook the ducting & fan to the top of the cooltube & use this as room exhaust too, with another fan directly below the light to blow air up. Is this a feasible plan? I really have no idea at all - …

Hi all, I currently have a 400w setuo Anyone know a good place in Melbourne (reasonble price,decent quality)for 600w hps light kit? any ideas of the cost? have loked on ebay,but put off by ripoff delivery charges If I was to keep the 400w setup,what lamps do people recommend, I want to use Hps and MH I have looked at the Sunmaster 400w Retro Lamp ,Sunmaster 400w HPS Agro Lamp ,400w HPS Lucagrow 56500 Lumens ,Solarmax 400w High Pressure Sodium and the Son T Agro HPS....now I am confused thanks for anyhelp

hey everyone, i'm currently running a 1000w hps wich i've had for a while, thinking of changing the globe for the next grow i can get my hands on some son t 1000w hps globes for free brand new. now the question, would i be better of getting a grow specific globe or going with the son t do they have the same lumen/lux output cheers

Hi I just signed up to the site and firstly want to say thanks to all the members as this website is an awesome read and a great help for me. I will be spending alot of time over the next month just reading past grow diaries and details on indoor growing as i am new to this. I bought this light a year ago at an auction to use for portable shed lighting but i was wondering if its possible to use it for growing plants indoors.
