I have a problem, think my ph is way too high. Plants are in soil. 50/50 worm castings and organic potting mix. I transplanted one plant and gave it a light spray with a weak solution of Seasol, about 2 mill to one ltr of water. The result was the yellowing of the leaves and slowed growth. The other plant I have left in original pot and I gave that a spray as well not as much as the transplanted one. But it has slight yellowing on the tips of the new growth. I am just giving them straight water atm. Above is the transplanted plant. This one has yellowing on tips of new growth.

I'm starting to wonder if using additives like Monsta Bud and Ozi Tonic are really worth the time, effort and especially the extra $'s :scratchin Anybody out there done a comparison grow with and without? I've used Monsta Bud on my past two grows and I'm wondering if I would be better off using a different nute to get the same result. This shot shows my current grow and a bud at 5 weeks that's had the recommended dosage of Monsta Bud and I'm not all that impressed. I'm using the Hydrobotanics Bloom/Monsta Bud combination in the flower stage and they were vegged using Bud Pounder. I flowered my last grow (Bubbleberry) with the Bud Pounder Bloom nute and a bit of Monsta …

Hey growers, Ive bought a few things for a mix -richgro promix, some perlite, blood and bone. was going to get some worm castings but was told at that nursery that you cant buy it and have to compost it yourself (?). was going to use an organic compost mix instead. anyway, my question is does anyone have a good indoor soil mix that they use from seedling to flower using these kind of ingredients. i have some dutchmaster that i was use lightly after a while as well. cheers

Hey guys, got some Swiss Bliss and Haze X Nebula (Paradise Seeds) going in a 45l tubber using Amsterdam Indoors grow nutes (2-part), but I want to go organic ASAP. Bio-Mix was the recommendation, but I can't get them. Any suggestions? Anyone heard of "AB Organics"from South Australia? Made from worm castings, 100% organic, three-parts (A + B for veg, plus PK for Bloom) and no silt. Once sexed, these little ones will be going in a remote drip system.

I have been reading that best way to start growing is with 50% Perlite and 50% Vermiculite. Is this true? i would like to hear what you guys think and what your using to grow with. And also what Nutrients i should use from seeding, veg then flowering. Cheers

What flowering additives have been best for you? I've only used a product called Steroid, which has super high P/K values (30% or so). Does any one else use it? How does it compare to 'highly recommended' products like Monster bloom, Big bud, Overdrive, and Monster bud/Ozi tonic? Any thoughts are appreciated, Cheers

hi all i just picked up a canna pamphlet with the recommended nute strength chart for the canna aqua range. it seems that canna recommends an EC no higher than 1.2 in veg and 1.5 in flower this is way lower than ive always used with other brands of nutes, being normally 2.0 EC in veg and 2.4 EC in flower. does anyone actually use canna nutes at the low EC as recommended by Canna? or should i ask has anyone actually used them at such a low level and found the recommended levels to be correct or are they a bit light on? i'm assuming that canna would know best seeing that they produce the product?

I've been a fan of CANNA from the first time I used their products. I haven't used all they have, but those things I have tried worked exactly as they said they would. Especially the rizontic which I think should be listed under the sub-heading of "Magic" Anyway, I see they have a new product, either it's out or it's going to be released soon. Something called "CANNA AQUA". It sounds too good to be all it says. No adjusting the PH? I mean it doesn;t say hey have buffers, their products are "more stable" than they used to be...it actually claims the PH will remain between 5.2 and 6.2 without us needing to do a thing. I realise a full point is a big differnc inPH, but …
