Question for soil growers

Hey growers,

 

Ive bought a few things for a mix -richgro promix, some perlite, blood and bone. was going to get some worm castings but was told at that nursery that you cant buy it and have to compost it yourself (?). was going to use an organic compost mix instead.

 

anyway, my question is does anyone have a good indoor soil mix that they use from seedling to flower using these kind of ingredients. i have some dutchmaster that i was use lightly after a while as well.

Hi mate, possibly try another nursery.

 

Most have prebagged and blended composted manures and castings for sale now. Maybe not castings alone, but surely blended.

Can just buy bagged humus to.

 

Maybe try about 60% promix + 20% perl + 20% compost and blended manure/worm caste + a pinch of blood n bone.

I wonder how the hell they do that? To produce a commercial quantity I mean. Wow. This is great news. bet it's bloody expensive hey?

Thanks for that. Just the stuff for starting a new compost off, or a new no dig garden ...among a zillion other things. Can u get a name for me mate? Brand name, manufacturer or something? I just want to look it up on the web first.

Hi krazim,just seen ya question .I use a mix of organic lawn dressing as its the only thing i can find with no pre-ferts in it.

The mix i use is 50%soil 25%perlite 25% coco and to that i add a handfull of blood and boneand this gives me 20ltrs of mix.So for every 20ltr mix i add 1 handfull of blood and bone.The only thing i feed them is some liquid seeweed and as a foliar spray. All other waterigs are just plain water.
