Hi folks, Havent noticed a lot of material regarding male/female selection and/or breeding in general. I am in the process of creating 2 or 3 hybrids. I took 3 key varieties to start the project..... DJ short original blueberry (I had been wanting to grow/breed with this strain for atleast 10 years), BOGS blue moon rocks (a blue strain with decent potency/flavour and decent yield), Chimera's c-plus dj short bb x cali orange (25yr+IBL) and also grew out blue moonshine (bbxww) for which i didnt bother breeding with. Hi misunderstood plant enthusiasts, I'm currently in a bit of an enviable pickle right now. I found out after not speaking and avoiding each other for a year that my next door neighbour is a cannabis breeder of the highest quality. He is a particularly avant sativa fan. I've been helping him haul boxes and crates o his new apartment up the road for the last 2 month and have earned a couple of free bags of his seeds. Morning everyone I've got the Demon, bonza and Herbies pages up and doing a bit of window(s) shopping i put this post up to get any opinions on which type of beans I should be maybe looking at-remember, I haven't grown much and my crappy bagseed oldies ain't gonna crack I don't think. Sorry if this is the wrong place to put it, but seemed the best. Can seeds tell you anything about the plant/strain, ie size, shape, markings etc? are sativa / indica seeds different? just something that ive always wanted to know

i've read that to make an autoflowerer, you have to cross ruderalis into whatever it is you are working with to making it a stable autoflower strain. is this true? if so, where does one get ruderalis seeds from? it seems a little too simple, but i guess it sounds possible too.

Just had a look at a book by Greg Green called the cannabis grow bible. In there he has a top ten section most if not all are readily recognisable strains but in the best outdoor section there is Australian bush weed. Does anyone know if this is an actual strain or just a generic term?
