Here`s a pic. of a Skunk#1 .The plant is just over 4 weeks old from seed. It`s growing in Cocopeat.Using a 400W Son T Agrp Lamp.Temperature stays between 20 - 28 degrees celicius.Humidity is between 50-75. I thought I`d tie down a few branches to help the light reach the lower areas. Let me know what you think ? Is it a reasonable size for it`s age , do you think? (It`s about 2 foot tall -from the medium) The colour of the plant is much healthier than it appears in the pic.

I understand the principles behing Supercropping, but what is the difference in yield if it is not done?.I like the idea of a huge crown that pokes up like the Eiffel Tower.Yet i have seen some pics with the plant being supercropped and the yield that the plant can get seems so much more.Is it best for the plants to be cropped if you have a small growing space?.And does it affect potency in anyway?. Thanks

Sexing, and questions on mother plants 1 2

Alright ... I can see this question getting kinda huge and involved so I'll keep it as brief as possible. I'm a little dubious as to which method to sex plants with. From my research I know that there are the main 3 ways... observing preflowers, flowering clones, or flowering then revegging. Has anyone observed the preflower technique to work successfully? It sounds like quite easy but how reliable is it? Flowering clones seems to be the best method, but how long would this take? From what I've been reading, obviously you must wait until your plants are old enough to take cuttings from, then one must wait until the cuttings are rooted and then more waiting until the…

Something I often overlooked when scrogging was the trimming of growth underneath the screen when I went into bloom. Lazy me. I used to end up with all the leaf and tips underneath the screen dying off and littering my floor. Then one grow I decided to be clean and trimmed off all the leaves and shoots that didn't make it through the screen. The result was a lot of space under the screen, with the bare branches growing through. Unknown to me I had opened up a whole new airflow to my roots and underside of my screen, and my plants grew about 20% larger. So, it's not just tidy, it gives ya more buds, and allow your girls to consentrate their growing above the screen w…

a couple of weeks ago i inherited this plant from a friend after it had blown over and snapped in a storm and they were going to throw it out....such a waste so i grabbed it...after using my old trick of bandaging with medical dressing tape, it came to and shot up... this is an unknown strain and is yet to be sexed, but it will most likely be used solely for cooking so i decided to tie down the 2 main branches...it did split a little, only a few mm's but decided to tape it to prevent disease setting in... already the branches are starting to turn upwards and i will eventually tie down again when other branches get stronger... anyhow just wanted to share the process with…
