hey im a smoker and i've been spending loads of money. i recently decided to try to start growing my own weed, but i have absolutely no idea on how to do it. is there a basic guide i can find somewhere? i been checking around the site and all i can find is hydro systems and stuff and like theres water pumps and pipes and all this crape, and i have no idea what they are talking about. i was thinking all u need to grow pot is a light and a pot and seeds. but theres obviously alot more to it.. can someone help me please im a total noob

Just a general enquiry, I have been looking at sog / scrog growing for a little while, and am rather intriuged at the yield / space that these kind of techniques utilize. I am yet to set up a hydro setup myself and would love to, however I have been told by a fellow grower / mate that I would be better off under the circumstances I am under to setup a one / two pot plant under light grow. This is a good idea as I am totally new, am yet to have my own house etc. I was just wondering however, could you use a couple of pot plants and train them to fill a screen? Or do non - hydro setups not have the speed of grow / ability to change nutes etc as fast to make a screen worthwh…

Started off with Clones/Space 1.5 metres by 1.5 metres/Light 600 hps 3-3.5 ft away/14 litre pots/perlite/Manutec 2 part 1/2 strenth twice daily/Age roughly 30 days after cloning(Had a few probs to start with light burn etc/inlet/outlet/small fan blowing towards babies,Just confused on how often i should water?I no perlite doesnt hold water,Vermiculite would of been good to mix in but couldnt buy from anywhere,I no that the flood n drain tables/clayball systems water every 3 hours for 15-30minute as clayballs dont hold water,Is perlite the same?How often should i water?Is twice a day to much ?I used rock wool to clone em i hate the shit holds to much water never drys out …

I thought I might share this idea since we knew this guy who grew cannabis in his bin. Since he was renting, he was able to close the lid when anyone came over cos who would want to look in a bin. However the nosey neighbours caught him and he got evicted. Still I thought it was a pretty clever idea.

Hi all, Well it turns out northen australia is dry and it has finally given me enough incentive to start my first hydro set-up. YAY While I have quite a few grand to invest in this venture, getting a hold of some decent information and seeds are becoming a bit of a problem. Mostly I have smoked moderate grade bush, but have had a few recent gems and have kept the seeds from them. Then my firend tells me that I will need to have "Hydro" seeds, not just regular seeds So does this mean that my current seeds are useless for any sort of hydroponic propogration? Should I just start spreading these seeds through peoples garden beds and watch them grow? What do I need …

dont no if im doing this right but hope it all comes up ok. I've tried growing b4 with varying consequences so now im going for it proper with a decent set-up. I wont bore you with the details of my other stone age set up just with ideas for my new 1 first off im going indoors wiv this and i woz going to opt for scrog but with the space i have available i wondered if i woz better off going down a different/more productive route as scrog seems to be more for space saving. The dimentions i have to play wiv are 15ft x 15ft x 8.5ft high, not saying im building a grow to fill all of this just thats what i've got to play wiv. I dont really want more than 15 plants…

Hello, I've germinated some seeds using the paper towel method. I've now placed them into rockwool propagating blocks but when should I move them under lights? Also, I've heard that you should start seedlings off under a fluro and move to the 400w once a few sets of leaves can be seen, is this correct? Thanks

just curious about clones, how many times can you clone a clone before it turns to crap smoke, I've seen some excellent looking smoke the last year or so lovely tight well formed buds but no smell or strength, is this what happens if you clone to many times.

Hi i am flowering my three sativas as we speak they are in about day 5 of flower and just showing a few extra hairs and shit. I have never realy grown a male funnily enough only one that was given to me for decoration. ANyways with the sativas they only have hairs everywhere does this Female or do males grow these too. Im a little scared casue the preflowers are sort of Male looking but i in denile and could be wrong. If hairs point to female then im ok otherwise i think i got males. I have another that is more into flowering and is covered in hairs and looking like relatiely nice colas. The only thing is it has sort of stopped maturing. Is this normal? It doesnt visual…
