I have let my plants grow to big for my cab again ( its a shitty problem to have ) i cant move my light up anymore, and because of the small space im going to Scrog it with a net, but seeing as there to big instead of scrapping them, cloning and starting from square one again ( like i did before ) i am going to top them so they have two main tops so they are easyer to train through the net. They are about 4 days into flower, was wondering because i still have 8 - 10 weeks left if i should top them and let them go or top them and put them back into veg for a little while then back into flower. Not looking for massive plants so i think scroging them will produce the best ye…

I hope this is the right place for this question, we'll find out soon enough. I need to force one of my plants to hermi....long story short back in 08 i grew some special skunk, it turned out fkn great and was also hermi....so i got a bag full of feminized special skunk seeds....what a treat. Now the bag is running low, and i need a top up....sooo....how the hell do u force a plant to hermi ? I'm aware that stress contributes...as does over pruning and "run-dry" in a dwc system (which is what i run, dwc)

Ok, so i got 2 plants going in coco and want to know, if watering every 8hrs for 1 min is enough? Watering times are 2am, 10am, 6pm for 1 min. Is this right? Cheers

Ok guys i need some advice, i bought some super silver haze seeds from greenhouse seed co and am gona grow them in my grow tent that is 1.4x1.4x2m under a 600w light, the plan is to grow 2 maybe 3 of them. My problem comes at the height of this strain once at the flowering stage, pics online look huge and am wondering if i have bought the wrong seeds for the job? but then i thought scrog, i could put a screen over them and only let the colas poke through. Is this a good idea to keep them from outgrowing my tent? is there anything i should try to keep them short? is 600w too low to worry about monster plants? just dont know what to do and wont plant them untill i know for …

Hi all, This will be my first grow, pretty much i want to grow a single plant and do it as cheaply as possible. I plan on only using the lighting at night, as during the day i'd like to have it out in the sun. Any recommendations as to lighting etc? I was also wondering, is it worth making like a box of sorts to place over the plant with the bulb inside so no light escapes, and with little air holes?

Hey all, This is my first post and I am completely wet behind the ears when it comes to growing. I have a few questions that my online reading hasn't answered (Largely due to lingo and "growers" terms ). Firstly I am just wanted to grow small for now, perhaps maybe 1 or 2 plants just to see if I can actually yield something so it's more like a project than a "need" for the current moment. My questions are: 1)Is it possible to actually grow 1 or 2 healthy plants in a "grow box" type setup? 2)Where can I source seeds of different strains? Any constructive replies or advice is greatly appreciated

Hi Fellow Oz stoners, Latley ive been very keen to do a vertical SOG grow. Have seen the coli, cage and cube grows over at overgrow.com, and im just wondering has anyone tried this method of SOG growing before. The coliseum looks unreal for people who have limited space and wanting big returns for there light. ie. the 300 site coli has 1800 watt of vertical light and returns about 10-14 grams per plant every 56 days. Thats over 9 elbows or 1.25 grams per 30 days per watt of light in a 2m spare space. Any info would be helpful. Regards, Jack

Hi all:) In the middle of co2 searching and found this product from Taiwan that is sold via ebay Hong Kong. It has the regulator, solenoid and I think suitable for Australia cylinder thread. After conversion, it is about $100 AUD with shipping, which makes it a fair bit cheaper than the Comet Greenhouse Co2 kits. I can't see a flow meter with it, but noticed a knob to control flow - suppose it is for aquariums. I have a co2 meter, so I can quickly use the knob to get a fairly accurate flow rate and was hoping that with a timer, I could get this thing to work. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, as I am over my head with this stuff. Thanks heaps pug:) T…

we have all read it, you can grow in 36 days IF YOU NEEDED TO.... so, has anyone done that before? Is it both vegging and bloom in only 36 days? any youtube vids of this? I would really like to see this.

hi, i have eight plants an two cool tubes, the plants are in clay pebbles in shopping baskets suspended into plastic tubs, i have large air stones in the resivoir and a pump recirculating the water as well, im planing on training the plants/branches into a circle around the cool tubes using net, has anyone done this before? seems like a good idea to me...ive attached a sketch, pls dont hassle my drawing skills

Hi everyone, i have some little babies in my grow room an i was wondering how early i should trim off the undergrowth? I have been tipping and a bit of lst. They are in week two, bout 20cm high with about 18 tips each, should i trim off any side shoots now or leave it to bush out a bit?

Can anyone point me to a site that shows (maybe with diagrams) how all the different hydro setups work eg: DWC, Flood & Drain, run to waste, bubbler etc. I don't even know if these are different types, anyone. I thought I would look at all the options whilst I get my first grow (in soil) under my belt.
