I am currently researching growing and have come across a question... It may sound stupid but better to ask a stupid question than not ask a question at all so... My question is regarding CO2, I have seen burners used before but can I use a CO2 canister or a CO2 reactor to infuse CO2 into the water / nutrients I use to water the plants? I'm just curious because I am familiar with this method for fish tanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Howdy just looking for a little feed back on my set up. These babies have been under lights for 28 days at 20/4. They seem to be going well, apart from two of the smaller ones having wierd sort of leaves in the crown of them. I have no idea of the strain, they were a mystery bag of seeds. Is it worth sending them to bud now? or should I wait a bit longer? I'm keen for a good yield, but i'm not greedy. Don't really want to have four monsters on my hands either. Any feed back on the pics below would be appreciated.

Hi everyone im very glad I found this website and all its useful posts. I've been reading them for sometime now, and im still a bit overwhelmed at how much information is here that I cant really understand what I could use in my situation. Now a little about myself. I've been smoking marijuana for 3 years. 4 weeks ago I found a seed in my sack of chronic so I decided to plant it. I went into my garage and found some organic soil that says it has sandy loam? wetting agent, rich compost and encourages the growth of earth worms ( im not really sure if this is relevant ) Any who my plant has been growing for a little over 3 weeks now http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/135…

there is an article on the net about electroshocking plants to increase certain chemical prodution, i was wonder if any person has tried this and what were the results/ will be trying out on a girl in 2 weeks when i turn them back to 12 hours

Hi all, I was thinking of having a go at a sea of green grow.just wanting to know how many plants should I put in a space 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.8 H with a 600.I was thinking a dozen.is that too many?How big should the pots be I will be growing in coco and was thinking 5 litre pots.I can put more or less plants and make pots smaller or slighter larger just want ot know what will suit as I will be trying to pull 1gm/p watt as it will be my last grow til the end of next year maybe as I will be pulling them same time as my bushies.

Hey guys, I've got a lady indoors under a 400w HPS, roughly at 3rd or 4th week of flower (not exactly sure), but basically want it to be finished by christmas, because i am moving out of my apartment at the end of december and so will need time to get the carpets done etc, after which time I will be relocating interstate. It looks possibly sativa dom and is currently in a 20litre pot with a soil/coco/perlite mix, (each roughly 1/3), and im just using a simple flairform 1 part flowering nute, with some bud steroid until week 5, then pk 13/14 week 6 then flush. What I was wondering was, if i change the light from 12on 12off to 10on 14off, will the plant finish sooner withou…

I have a strange one! I put some seeds in rockwool and sprouted them. After about 4 days in the dark, I took them out and potted them in coconut fibre. then put them outside. After about 7 days, everything seemed to be going great. Bit of growth and things looked good. Today - it was a fairly nice 24 degree day with sun, and when I came home, they were all drooping over on their side and have seemingly died. The bottom part of the small stem seems ok, but the top feels weak and a starting to shrivel up a bit. I thought that maybe I over watered them a little, but I haven't watered them in two days! I have no idea what gone wrong! Any ideas?

Hi Guys, Well it's time to get the grow underway again. I was wanting some opinions though on a couple of technique variations. For my last grow, I did all indoors with 1000W and I got nice, firm, tight strong bud. Using the same seeds again, I was thinking of either: 1) Growing outdoors (veg) and then in eight weeks, moving indoors for four weeks under 1000W HPS at 11.5 hours a day. 2) Growing outdoors until early January (veg), then giving outdoor light (no hydro) for 11.5 hours and indoor darkness for 12.5 hours. 3) Growing outdoors for 8 weeks then indoors - with alternating natural light and hydro light for the last four weeks. Hello fellow stoners.I have a couple of Questions regarding Cfl's.I have switched to 12/12 on a 100w 6400K CFL and the plants seem to be sexing nicely.My Questions are do I keep them on 12/12 or switch back to 16/8 after sexing and when should I change the Light to the 100w 2700K light?I am sure these Questions have been answered else were but Funnily enough I'm too stoned to look..This is my first grow and will try and set up a grow diary after I've finished the sexing and picked out the best.

hey guys, Im about to start my 2nd grow and thinking of doing a dwc sog but using the dutch method(12/12 from seed). Being only my 2nd grow im just tasting around for any hints n tips any1 has to offer. Have many peeps had great success with this type of grow?? What major differences should 1 expect??...Will my seedlings still throw nodes or should i expect 1 punkus maximus nug?? Any help would be great, Cheers KB=]

Hi every one out there hope every thing is good. I have recentley read two grow books Marijuana growers guide by Mel Frank published in 1978 and cannabis cultavation by Mel Thomas copyright 2006. The book by Mel frank is great I have been able to fix alot of problems and have had many sucsessfull crops because of this book but the one by Mel thomas has information in there that is questionable for instance he recomends for any type of indoor grow to use 6 inch pots when i normally use 15 inch or 3 plus gallons. Also the book by Mel frank states to use 2 gallon plus after the 1st or 2nd month or the plants will get root bound. Cannabis cultavition also states that you do n…

just finished doing a setup with 2 600HPS cool lights.I have my ducting running out through vent i made but have not set up ducting for air intake as i was wandering if i left ducting off would this also take the air out of the room or would this warmer air stop my lights running as cool as they should.On the site where i order my equipment from they had an end cap with a flap going only one way so air could be drawn in but none come out but i cant see why you would use this as the air is only going to go one way while the fan is on any way.Can some one please explain these things to me.
