CO2

Recommended Posts

I am currently researching growing and have come across a question... It may sound stupid but better to ask a stupid question than not ask a question at all so...

My question is regarding CO2, I have seen burners used before but can I use a CO2 canister or a CO2 reactor to infuse CO2 into the water / nutrients I use to water the plants?

I'm just curious because I am familiar with this method for fish tanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Plants use co² when they photosynthesise. I don't see any benefit to adding it to the root zone. The roots need oxygen.

Aquatic plants get thier co² from the water because they can't get it from anywhere else.

Just my 2¢.
