well this may be vairiable depending on the strength of nutrients used and the amount of run-off you allow, but yes once a week is more than adequate

 

best way to check your own specific condition of salts within your pots is to , measure the EC PPM of the run-off from your next watering then you know concentration of the nutrients going into the pot and what comes out, this way you know exactly how concentrated the nutrients become within the pot

 

personelly i have about 25% run-off after watering at strength of 1.4 EC / 700PPM and i flush about every 10-14 days

cheers mate. i didnt think we had to flush entill the crop is nearly finished? i heard 2 weeks before they are done flowering does the job?

that's called the final flush and is to help the plant use up its stores of nutes, you have to flush your medium throughout the grow as well to avoid a buildup of salts
