thanks to all who helped me out on my previous question, asa result i have some nice fat resin covered buds to pick on the weekend. i know you cant tell all that well from the pics( best i can do with my phone) but most of the plant is ready.. it would all be but i let it get too big before putting into flower and so some parts get a little more lght than others and therefore are about a week behind..anyway heres a couple of pics for y`all

hi all.. firstly, i hope ever1 had a good xmas and a mindbending new year.. alrighty then, after 8 weeks in flower i think i am very close to my 1st harvest and am not quite sure exactly when i should .. ive put in some pics so i hope they come out clear enough.. most of the hairs are now red but some of the buds are still abit skanky looking and could probly fatten up a bit more.. so my questions are, 1. do they look ready? and 2, if most are ready and some of the lower buds are still not quite done, is it cool to cut off whats ready and leave the rest to continue or should i just sacrifice those buds are pull the whole thing out, as i will be flushing for a week…

Whats the longest time you have had to wait for a plant to finish from the time you put it into bud ,till finishing ,,, and what variety was it ? Indica or Sativa etc ? PS ,, and was it worth the wait ?

ive got some bud thats quite moist.. it isnt mine, but the person who bought it obviously got ripped, my question is how long have i got until mould starts to grow? although the smoke was incredible, it's a strong indica. EDIT: just realised this is in the wrong forum.. apologies for that. also: since this is the first time ive come across wet bud, is it normal for it to be sticky?

Hi again........... I have a question now regarding Flavouring Buds....... I read a post awhile back where a guy put orange peels in the jar with the buds........ Does this really permantly INFUSE the buds with an orange smell ? what i mean is, they may smell like orange whilst the peel is in the jar with them, but say after a few weeks you take all the buds out and put them in a new clean jar that hasnt ever had any orange peel in it, will the buds stay smelling like orange or will it fade after a while ? Also, could you use vanilla pods to flavour the buds like vanilla ? i love the smell of fresh vanilla pod.... cheers Jason

Hey all, just curious to know about leaf for making butter and all that stuff... is there a particular time to harvest your leaf or do you just take it all (from the whole bush) when you harvest your buds? if you harvested at another time would the leaf still contain the same amount as harvest time? also...how much leaf do you need to get any benefit for extraction?? like how much leaf will produce "x" millilitres or grams etc... since getting into growing over the last few months i've been keen to learn alot, I know that leaf smoke is shyte but for extracting purposes has it's uses. I would like to cook with it just for experience:)

OK ,, High Grade Seed stock again I have 2 plants ,, one is producing skinny Resin laden buds and one has colas the size of ya fore arm . How long does NL#5 usually take to finish ? I am on my 8th week and the Fore Arm buds arent even looking like finishing The skinny ones , are also looking a fair way off finishing . Not even any brown hairs yet Anyone else grown this Variety ? How long till she is finished ? After this grow , I am going back to my bagseed stock ,.,. much quicker finishing times ,, and much better yields Seems like I got a load of Sativa seeds that would be better suited to outdoor growing rather than indoors

Hey guys Just wanted to know a few things. If i pollenate a female plant, approximatley how many seeds would i get from, say a 1.5 meter sativa plant that had roughly 250 grams of bud? How much would the seeds impact on the final harvest, in weight? One more thing, if you grow high-quality seeds, are you guaranteed to get more high-quality seeds at harvest time? Thanks guys. Peace

Hey brothers My very first grow and 10 seeds became 7 seedlings and, 9 days into flowering it's clear I have 5 males and 2 females (see images). I've taken the boys out of the grow room and put them outside. Strain is Hollands Hope which is supposed to be good for outdoor growing anyway so they'll probably continue to do well. They've come out of 12/12 under 600W HPS and sunrise to sunset here in Adelaide is a bit over 13 hours and increasing as we head into Summer. My question: Do I just trash the males and say 'ce la vie' or can I get any high from them? I have a vaporizer on the way so I was wondering if that could eke out any goodness. If no value then it'…

Hey guys Has anyone had any good experience with cross-pollinating high grade seed strains from seed banks? Friend has a few good strains(kali mist, ak-47, chronic), and was wondering if it would be a good idea to cross them? Are there any guidelines one must follow in this process, for example, because the kali mist is heavy sativa, am i correct in thinking that it would not be good to mix with a heavy indica strain like chronic? So, i need to hide the harvest from my brother and have been contemplating putting it all on a flyscreen and put it up in the roof cavity, now obviously it will be suspended coz i want good flow on it and i even have power up there to hook up a fan. The problem is that my insulation looks pretty light and its just kinda scattered everywhere, there hasnt been much of a gathering of dust on the other stuff stored up there so im wondering if you think that having it close to whatever particulates might be in the air and whether or not adding airflow will be an issue too, Cheers

Ive read alot about waiting till the tricombes turn say at least 30-50% amber before harvesting. Will they definatley end up amber the longer I leave it or is it strain dependent? Have a mixed bag all 8 weeks into flower. Some heads are stinky with lots of sugary tricomes. Some head leafs yellowing and curling up. But they have not changed to amber within the last 2 weeks as I expected. I have around 5% amber and 75% cloudy. Rest are clear. Has been like this for a week. First grow back at it and first time ever tryin SCROG style. i liked the scrog should be able to dial it in better next run. Here is some buds ready to pick well i think so , dont know the strain all the bloke said was it was a bagseed from south oz. Very light bud ,showing some hermie pollen sacs late in flower . samples taste great already. But due to the hermie traits i dont think i will be growing this again. So what you think peeps ready for harvest ? 57 days flower last 8 days has been water only which has been drained and replaced every day. i have more pics but it wont let me attach all to a single post so i will post some more pics in a reply Cheers

my plants are budding really good right now i dont have any phosphate for them what house hold items can i use that has phosphate in it will watering my plant with milk work ? I have been doing it to oneplant I have gave it 16 oz's of milk in the past 2 weeks seems to be living i wish i had some rock phosphate but i have no more furtlizer I live way out in the country an dont get to town much but i have no farm animals to use there shit either I can go clip a bud n sho u..... i do have a lot of garden scrapes if any rotten veggies have phosphate in them i can use my grow room is indoors so i can not use fish guts what about the blood from steaks will that work like bloo…

WHATS UP GUYS!!!!!! I am 40 days into flower and there are crystals everywhere.......I am wanting to cut a branch off full of bud and do the "quick dry thing to sample her....is it kool to do so? Will it slow or halt the growth of the rest of her...will it harm in any way? If I can do it..where would I cut it from...close to main stalk or out farther?.....or do I just cut the buds off? Let me know what ya'll think...its my first grow and am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof!!!!! heres a pic or two...... PEACE
