Does Lemon peel work?

Most citrus works fine but you have to be careful as the moulds and rots that affect citrus can affect your weed rather drastically, particularly if things a litte moist and you leave it too long.

 

But yeah, try all kinds of things, just bear in mind moisture levels and you should have some fun testing things out.

 

Still love vanilla capsules in jars put at the back of the cupboard. When you rediscover it a year later it's glorious. I don't discount the original flavour of things, but as a nice treat it's lovely. Doubt I'd go to the trouble of doing it to a whole crop unless it was utter rubbish. But then, you would likely just turn such buds into oil/bubble anyway.

I'll give it a shot soon, I have to buy a lemon for other stuff I am making.

 

I thought I might dry the peel a little before it goes in the jar to reduce the mould risk.

 

I will let u know if the results are worth it

Love vanilla in anything, such a sweet smell. I put the capsules in my sugar bowl to help absorb any moisture, so it would help keep moisture leves down in a jar.

what about putting flavouring in any way in the soil.. mushed up banana peels for example in the soil. would the buds taste like it when they're done?

over the years i have experimented with many types of fruit flavourings, from lemon to mango to strawberry and pineapple, its all a matter of personal choice, i tend to do this when my crop isnt at its best, ive def had a few distasters, citrusy fruits do really well as do mangoes.

 

Ive seen mates throw there old mango skins into there pots thinking this will do, but i have found all this does is attract the wildlife and fruit flies. What i like to do is, get about 10 or so mangoes (i know someone with a mango farm) remove the skin and seed, get the rest of the fruit put this in a blender blend it until smooth, take it out mix in a teaspoon of Flourish Fertilzer, mix it down 50/50 with some water and water your plants as normal, i did this twice a week and i came up with some very mango smelling weed, didnt taste like mango, but it smelt like it. Same process for other fruits, but the more acidic the fruit i tend to find you need to add more water to. Its worked for me in the past although i havent tried it in recent times. Basically a bit of a wank job and takes up- to much of your time this way to be worth it, although u can on sell it more cause its "mango bush" people are stupid...
