can i cut a branch off, full of bud, to test before harvest?

WHATS UP GUYS!!!!!!

 

I am 40 days into flower and there are crystals everywhere.......I am wanting to cut a branch off full of bud and do the "quick dry thing to sample her....is it kool to do so? Will it slow or halt the growth of the rest of her...will it harm in any way? If I can do it..where would I cut it from...close to main stalk or out farther?.....or do I just cut the buds off? Let me know what ya'll think...its my first grow and am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof!!!!!

Yes you can take one if u wish, it shouldent hert the plant.

 

If anything it may slow down growth for a day of 2 but other than all should be good...

Looking at those buds ,, you aint going to get a true indication of what the buds MAY be like . .. you will get a great leaf smoke though They need a lot more filling out dude . Or are you desperate ?

I would wait till some of the pistils turn amber/brown

and then just pick one bud not a branch...
