hi all, just a question if you all think there is any substance in this or am i getting my pocket pissed in. living in a rural area in vic, have a creek running thru the property down the back, i have about 3 plots grow totaling 30 plants on the property. have not told a soul, have not had anybody around - i do however have a neighbour who has a little hobby farm that is set hard against my fencline and he seems a little too nosey for my liking, but in saying that we just leave eachother alone(at least thats what i hope) i have a large dog (a big sook) that looks and sounds like a man eater that is fenced in along the front of the property. the creek out the back is my…

Ok i have been planning a pretty elaborate outdoor grow for sometime, i have the resources at the location for set and forget. People on the forum have been very kind so far as to help with variety selection. Now the temperatures are getting high enough in this higher altitude region, and the risk of frost almost gone, i think its time to put the plan into motion. i have used vegetative FR/NR ratios from satelite data taken in summer to identify high moisture areas. I have logged GPS co-ordinates and my hiking pack folding shovel, ferts and such are ready. By the way when i do this (next 4-6 weeks) i plan to open a thread and log my experience with few words and many phot…

Hi all i'm a very kean grower and have been for some time i'm also a scientist. Today i would like to talk about a watering method known as Partial root drying (PRD) While doing some research for a client i came across a paper that was released in the CSIRO australian journal of experimental agriculture about ten years ago. I think this paper has huge relevence to outdoor weed growers. The paper explored an experimental method of watering grape vines. Two drippers were fed to each vine one on each side of the vine so that approx half the root system could be watered at a time. l The experiment aimed at watering half the root system at a time while leaving one …

Hi there fellow Stoners, Getting ready to put my babies (approx 28) in for my first outdoor grow in tassie and I'm a little bit paranoid bout coppers in choppers seeing my patch. I'm on private land 100 odd acres, so I'm not worried about anyone stumbling across on foot or vehicle but the air scares the shit out of me. My patch is in grassland full of bracken fern so I'm hoping that will help to camo but doeas Anyone know of somebody who has been caught from the air down here?

Ok. Here we have 3 Red Devil clones that have been hardened off for a week and have been out in the bush for approximately 10 days. I went early this morning to go check up on them and give them a bit of a watering. They are still quite small but they were really small when put out in the bush due to my living circumstances. They have grown a fair bit. Details are: Strain: Red Devil Seed/Clone: Clones Medium: Searles Premium Potting Mix and Searles 5 in 1 - 10 cm layer of perlite on the bottom of the pots and water crystals Pots: 30L buckets with drainage holes Now for the pics! (keep in mind that I took these pics after giving them a total drenching of 15L per pl…

I've got a biiig problem. I had a chopper fly over my house and do a circle. I've got a greenhouse that is concealed from the sky, but obvious from air. It only had a few plants for my own use, which I took out. Should I pull it down? Will that look dodgy? Does this mean no crop for the year? I'm very concerned. If I get a call asking me what it was for, what do I say?

Hi all I smoked some nice local buds and threw some seeds into 15cm pots with potting mix. Thew came up within a fortnight and i left only the two healthiest. This was around July and now both are 15 cm with 5 pairs leaves. I've just left them next to the window the spare room they get light all day long. I want to smoke my own buds and watch the plant grow from seed to bud. How many weeks from seed to flowering?

I've just recently had the good fortune to be intoduced to the Very Good people at www.soulseeds.co.uk They sell only a few different strains BUT....All are lowryder! Lowryder for anyone that doesn't know is an autoflowering strain that goes from seed to harvest in 90 days. No photoperiod needed. It's only downfall is that it can't be cloned...AH! But there is actually one type that the male gets resin!!! I've chosen Lowryder2 and Low Snow to try first. This company made an extra special effort to help me obtain seed, the customer service is outstanding. There is also a site that deals with the growing of these wonderful little plants, www.highbred.com I'm still waiti…

Ok so me and a bro are putting alot of work making a detailed plan of a outdoor grow in the bush. We both are experienced deer hunters with a good knowledge of the bush and we have some locations in mind blah blah yutta yutta yutta. I'm designing a set up that i believe i may only have to visit once twice a month dependning on rainfall records. I'm pretty sure it will work i have strong background in plant sciences and agronomy. However some questions i am finding it really hard to come up with certain answers for. It seems cannibus cultivation is like hunting and fishing. There are a million ways of doing everything and everyone swears by their way. Furthermore it…

As the titel states this is another grow with 8 lemon sativa, the person that gifted the seeds to me was not to sure on the strain but knew that the offspring smell like lemons when it flowers, it grows very very tall... these seeds that you can see in this pic were germanted for 4 days and then planted in coco/perlite mix pots today... when they sprout and are about 2 weeks old they will transplanted into 10litre pots and left to do the thing that they do best
