News Ltd is the biggest offender when it comes to zero-tolerance drug-warrior slanted news stories. This has to be the biggest shit smear I've seen on a newspaper not yet in a birdcage: The folks in those big seedbanks in the Netherlands would like some of that super-cannabis that the 'Vietnamese crime gangs' are keeping all to themselves... and as IF anyone would need to travel to Canada to learn how to grow weed indoors, year-round. Do you like the tie-up of cannabis with heroin? After all, those Vietnamese crime gangs are big on the smack too... Author Keith is a totally racist Moor-on. ferfuxsake. However, a disturbing trend is going on over at the…

You've probably all seen the papers this week with all the fuss about alcoholism, violence and unemployment in Aboriginal communities, as usual the PM is soap boxing about saving children etc... Well the solution is quite simple really. Here's an easy way to solve Aboriginal unemployment, violence and alcohol abuse all in one brilliant sweep. Ban alcohol for a start, good, but don't leave them empty handed...Get them growing commercial quantities of cannabis. This would provide huge amounts of income and jobs for the communities seeing that Australians love their herb. Obviously this would include recreational (smoking) cannabis, medicinal cannabis and of course cannabis …

Tip-off sparked school nude drug tests Anti-doping officials have defended drug testing schoolboy rowers in the nude, saying it is a common procedure and the regatta was raided after a tip-off from an insider. The private schoolboys, from Newington College and Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore), gave samples to Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority officials at an inter-school regatta on March 17. Under the international drug-testing standard, the boys had to pull their shirts up to their chests and drop their pants in the presence of a chaperone from the authority. The incident reportedly angered some GPS principals, who refused to provide ASADA t…

Hi all Aussie cannabis lovers, Well I haven't started a thread yet, and I hadn't seen this topic specifically listed so.... tell me all the reasons you think cannabis is illegal. From health/policitical/manufacturing/conspiracy angles. All is good. Let me get the list started: - government really cares about our health and thinks that it is another harmful substance that it needs to protect us from (I know this is BS propoganda -> but get the bad out of the road first); - cannabis as a plant cannot be patented and having a multitude of medical uses (which have been largely suppressed) poses a threat to pharmeceutical industries. Why? - grow your medicine in the b…

ALCOHOL AND CANNABIS: THE MIX by Paul Dillon .... SSOnet.com.au Over the years this column has tended to concentrate on those drugs often linked to the nightclub/ dance party scene. Ecstasy, crystal and GHB attract most of the headlines and we often warn about mixing drugs for, although many people believe that mixing can enhance the effects, we know the risks are also increased when drugs are used in combination, i.e. polydrug use. Not including tobacco, the most common pattern of polydrug use in Australia is among people who mix cannabis and alcohol. People who mix cannabis and alcohol say they do it to get more “out of it”, or that they use the second drug to…

This may have been posted before, but oh well Little background... I'm a noob smoker, only started recreational use a few months back (I'm 19). I was totally against marijuana use all the way up until a few months ago until a mate of mine slowly convinced me that it's mostly just propaganda. He pointed me to some websites (erowid, norml etc), I checked them out, had a look at some of the references and I was sold. So now I'm in the same vote as most of you on here thinking whytfh is it illegal at all? I've been checking out a lot of forums, blogs and other sites around the issue of legalisation. People seem to be doing some things to push the subject, but I get …

Charges Dismissed Against Loretta Nall; Happy 4/20 To All of Y'all! Posted in Chronicle Blog by Phillip Smith on Fri, 04/20/2007 - 5:42pm Alabama housewife turned activist Loretta Nall is out from under the long arm of the law, with the marijuana charges against her dropped as Cannabis Nation celebrates its unofficial national holiday, 4/20. She was arrested over an alleged roach after a pro-marijuana legalization letter she wrote to the Birmingham News prompted police and officials at her daughter's school to improperly interrogate the young child. The letter and the child's statements were the basis of the search warrant that led to her arrest. She was convicted…

Shortly I’ll be visiting my old Teacher. He’s a returned man: Second World War. Allegedly held the record for fastest at transmitting Morse code. Used to head the oldest Order in continuous existence in the southern hemisphere - probably. Taught me more than I care to confess, especially to him. So I’ll be taking him an Agung Buddy, a plastic ball-shaped grinder for his elderly hands, a cheap gas-lighter and something to make it all worthwhile. He knows I’m coming and he’s excited. Said he’s going to toast with Drambuie. So I’ll get there. Organise some coffee. Give him his presents and take it from there. I know I’m supposed to be cooking lunch with enough over for…

Poverty: The Only Thing Money Can’t Buy! “…place central importance on the great conflict which is eternally waged between Liberty and Power .... I see the liberty of the individual not only as a great moral good in itself ... but also as the necessary condition for the flowering of all the other goods that mankind cherishes: moral virtue, civilization, the arts and sciences, economic prosperity.” Conceived in Liberty, Volume II Murray Newton Rothbard …

MPs should be drug tested: Nile (IMO extremist ,rightwing ,religious nutter, shouldn't have even been allowed to become a pollie bore!) * Fred Nile drug tested at press conference * Rev Nile "suspicious" of MP drug use * Rev Nile calls for drug tests for pollies CHRISTIAN Democrat MP, the Reverend Fred Nile, has voluntarily undergone drug screening during a bizarre press conference at New South Wales Parliament. Mr Nile is pushing for random drug tests for all candidates before next weekend's NSW election and would also like random drug testing of public servants, including train drivers and police. Today, alongside a handful of his Christian Democrat…

Paul_Perrett_Orders_in_Council_Statement.docDivinatory Experiences (And sundry matters) Dedicated to Ruen, Baron Jay of Ewelme & Mr. Price CBE QC I don’t advise consulting the tarot when stoned, although I have done. The intelligences which govern it are Mercurial and unscrupulous in deceiving the diviner. This does not mean that they are malignant; they just have a proper pride in their office as Oracles of Truth. In short, if you ask party-time questions you will get part-time answers! A few months short of a decade ago I became involved in some political matters. The consequences of this have been life changing. At one time I had a woman, a profession, a home…
