Hi all So i have moved to the warm city from the cold country i am in stage 1 germinating my seeds and i smell an odor of mold on the tissue the seeds are wrapped in. They are on 1 square plate with another on top and are kept in a place that stays at a constant temp. before hand had 12 super skunk seeds from 2001 that sprouted faster then i imagined and died the 1 day i forgot to rehydrate them i only saved 1 maybe 2 and transferred them to my growing medium and decided to get some generic seeds and use the same plate. day 2 and there is a smell of mold . The seeds are still a little firm but brake under pressure and none have sprouted What should i do? Do i …

Ok, you more experience blokes and bloke-ess'e might be able to help me out here. Had 2 plants down both growing away nicely (hydro) and growth was really good. I had to rearrange my grow room (ie remove a wall from it for more room) And at the same time i did a nutes change. nothing different, I follow the same process and cf and ph levels every time. Now this particular time, Ive neglected to open my drain return tap in my tank so as a result they were sitting in nutrient for prob close on 48 hours before we realised. Just thought they were really thirsty and sucking up lots of water when we did our daily check until we saw the water on the floor. Thats when the alarm b…

Poor girls...im more than sad over this, so much darn work to see them start to burn and im still unsure of whats the problem. Lets start from 4 days ago when they were perfectly healthy. I woke up to there being water on the floor, the pots had over flowed instead of draining and recircing. So we know that all the pipes are clogged with roots and nothing is draining... The poor girls sat in 1.8 EC water for 2 days, 1.2 EC for 1 day and are now down at 0.8 EC -- But the roots are totally submerged in water/clay balls.... So --- I went out and bought an air pump, being that the root system is so huge on the plants i could only manage to get an air stone down ha…

OK i know i should be able to fix this, have seen before n just went away, but some advice is needed. This problem first started on the bigger fan leaves but now is occuring all over top 2 bottom on all my plants Flower AND Veg. All have been flushed with ph.5.8-6.0 and measured run off was 5.9-6.1 so not 2 bad We will just worry bout flower for the moment so lets say im feeding Cana Flora A&B no other additives at a ppm of 500-800 There in 50 liter pots so not root bound. After i did all that and no change occured i dosed em with a hit of epsoms but still goin. Ok so here the pic n thanks again boys First leaf at start, bit worse than the last stage .…

Hi all, I've never grown in summer before and hence I'm having trouble with heat. Setup: I have a 1m x 1m, bucket hydro setup with 120L nutrient tank & 600W HPS. I'm seeing this rust coloured growth appearing in the tank (it looks a lot like dirt sitting on the bottom of the tank). The first time I noticed it, I flushed the system and cleaned with bleach, then replaced everything. No luck - it just reappeared after another few weeks. I'm about to give up until it cools down, but having no smoke for the next few months is not pleasant thought. My pH is normal (5.9-6.1) and nutrient levels are a bit lower than normal (10EC), but the temps in the tank have reache…

hey guys, not too worried, just want to understand? this girl has gotten progressively worse over the past couple of days although she is still growing - just want to know what this problem looks like? i use canna nutes at recommended strength and don't think it's a resevoir problem because 3 other plants are happy as larry, but what i did with these girls was had them planted in with some guys. i didn't know their sex and till i found out, i had them in the same pot with males, so all i did was uproot the males. i thought maybe having dead male roots in the same pot could be a cause? there couldn't be too many tho. other than that? not heat stress, there's plenty of ve…

I don't get it I should be harvesting her this weekend (2 days) and she was looking smelling AND feeling great. Rock hard nuggets and sweet pungent smell! I aquired a new grow tent on monday which meant some changes to environment: -Drop in temp -More room -Better lighting all round I think -And fresher air! She got a small feed on Monday, she has been on Ripen since Wednesday 5 days before the new cupboard, and I was letting her soak up everything she had in her pot. So today I go to give her one of her last waters and the bud is all FLUFFY!, I checked yesterday and she was rock solid! Please if anyone knows whats happenning to my poor baby I would appreciate …

Hi, ill get right to it. Plant stats: Strain: Unknown, but has a 50/50 sativa/indica look. Medium: 100% coco Nutriments: Canna coco A/B, at 500ppm every second day, runoff usually comes out 100 ppm lower than input. Ph: 5.8-6.0 but unsure because the use of a PIECE OF SHIT ezitools Ph meter(the red ones), stay away from these, don't buy one, ever. Age: Clone, 5 weeks. Lighting schedule: 20/4 Doing a flush right now to get the medium as clean as possible, then going to start it on 800-900ppm see if that helps. So here are some pics: So thinking magnesium/calcium problem or could be a ph prob perhaps. Much appreciation for any help, cheers.

hi all, my plants have been flowering for 3 weeks today. from week 2 my nutrients tank has gone down 10L/day. no leaks. i have 2 Misty plants, approx 1.3m(4ft) high, 1.3m(4ft) across. Expanded Clay. both in 20L buckets. both have 400 HPS. flood n drain setup with feeder rings. 1200L/H pump running 24/7. 1 airater. using CANNA Flores nutes, Rhizotonic, CANNABOOST, and BudLink. dunno if it means anything but the roots of both plants have grown all the way to the bottom of the buckets, making a big ball of roots in each bucket. some roots even grew down the run-off hoses and into the tank. my first grow so i dont know if this is normal. plants look healthy. lots of bud…

Here are some pics of my aeroponic clones, the two on the back have been in there for twice as long and have good roots as shown below. The new clones are yellowing in the middle of the leaves though, is this a ph problem? Tips burnt initially due to too high nutes (1.8, brought now to 1.6 now).
