Okay, so I got the fluro (which as per previous advice I'm not gonna use..) in the mail today.. along with a few nutes.. but I thought I might go and grab an exhaust fan from bunnings (as my budgets kinda on the cheap side at the moment.. I'll put a little cash away for one of those centrifugals..) and redeveloped my grow closet.. below you'll see pics of the plants.. some close-ups both on the leaf curl (which I"m kinda wondering about.. whats the issue there?) and also the little frond things growing from the base of the branches.. is this a sign of femality? And lastly.. the cabinet itself.. you'll obviously notice how confined for space it is.. and the new fan at the…

Okay, here's where I'm at.. basically I'm going shopping tomorrow when the cash comes in.. first, I'll be flushing with the ph corrected water.. then we'll see how things go.. but where I'm really getting lost (and showing my true newness to the art of growing) is the whole issue of nutrients.. it seems like everyone's got their own opinions, and it's really hard to make a decision.. I took a look at the dutchmaster site.. and am considering either their gold nutrient range for both grow and flower and their penetrator product for the folair feed (or canna terra instead, whichever, I just thought mixing cannas stuff with the dutchmaster penetrator wouldn't be wise).. .. i…

Okay, so I've transplanted into a potting mix/perlite medium.. seems to have taken to it okay (I think?) watered a little, and seem to have new growth. Also, the plants are quite pungent.. is this a good sign? The only problem I seem to have is that the new leaves seem to be curling upwards slightly.. is this an issue? I'm really new to this, and apologise if i'm questioning the obvious to some, but any help would be much appreciated.. I'm basically waiting on new seeds to start over (read the Wrangler grow earlier today.. prob should have gone with a coco peat mix.. will when the new seeds arrive) and just wondering if these plants are a complete loss, or whether I shoul…

Okay, this is my first indoor grow, pretty confined closet set-up, growing with HPS bulb. Basically I read somewhere that you could grow in straight Vermiculite, which I have, and the plants are about 2 weeks past sprouting.. Just wondering about the yellowing and kinda slight brown spotting. Tried using a very dilute Miracle Gro plant food once or twice, maybe that's the problem..? Very new to this, so any advice would be great..

I am in the 8th week of flowering ,so they are nearly finished . and a lot of the plant is looking dead in the sun/shade leaves ,, is this normal ? Or am I losing growing power of the buds ?? I changed nutes as soon as I changed the light cycle ,, I have had some high temps , IE 35 degrees . hi all, just after some opinions from anyone growing soil indoors - what is a good organic nute? a friend gave me a bottle of green dream solution for veging....seems to be working fine, i am getting to the end of it, it was nearly empty. am looking to mix some cocco, with potting mix or bag humus(compost)for these plants, i wont be needing the solution for a while - i think i mite just water them with seaweed emulsion etc. for a while after the transplant. also i have seen mentioned ozitonic, was wondering if anyone can shed some lite o what it is and if itis any good. thanks phin.

I saw a very good thread a while ago on problems with pictures of each problem. anyone go the link? these plants have spent a few day behind the shed, heat related, have not fed nutrients for about a week so not sure if this is problem , soil looks moist. ??????

Hey guys, When i first set up my system i was told the container im using for my res was 60 litres.. So ive always mixed the nutes to the strength of a 60L tank. I was just filling up my new res for my mother which is a small black container which says 60L.. There is a huge difference in size between the 2 reservoir's they cant both be 60L? Anyone else using the same res and know what size it is? Filling the tank up 2L at a time would be a real pain in the ass Cheers, Ricky

hi, as i have said in my few other posts i am very new to the indoor grow...also being from north qld, i was familiar with sativa type strains, and since moving to vic have had to get some bag seed and hope for the best. the prob is, i have been growing these little sprouts for almost 3 weeks, and they are pretty squat in height, they are bushy but it seems they are stunted(like i said i am not sure, this could be typical of more indica strains...i have been searching and now i am thinking its not the case), i noticed the slow growth-then in the last couple of days this yellowing in the bottom leaves. after looking at the nutrient prob forum in here thought that it may be…

Obvious fail at topic title. Anyway. Here are some pictures of my dying plants. Here's basically the issue. I have Pete's professional fertilizer/nutes as my nutrients which sucks I know (24-8-16) and I have no pH reader on hand. Yes that sucks. I'll give you some pictures. I think I might just be posting this topic for comments. I'm just pretty mad at my self that I transplanted three beautiful out of a great situation into an unprepared situation that I think is killing them. Oh yeah I finally got my 400W HPS/MH and it's up too. I even maintain the temperature well. Where is a quick place to get nutrients offline or is there any store that would carry them locall…

I have 2 plants in each pot, i have 6 pots, and none have sacks, so im starting to wonder if im just inpatient? its day 32... Give me a couple hours till lights on and ill put up some pics if needed Cheers, Ricky

I'm a super-newbie at this. Successfully cloned my plants and have them in Fox Farms Ocean Blend soil, under a full-spectrum light. Careful to not over-water, and have checked pH. Have been giving them SuperThrive when I do water. Temperature varies a little too much because they're in a shed I've added insulation to - maybe between 60 and 80 degrees. New leaves lack serration on the edges... Help!!!
