Leaves Browning Off ,, Normal ?

I am in the 8th week of flowering ,so they are nearly finished . and a lot of the plant is looking dead in the sun/shade leaves ,, is this normal ? Or am I losing growing power of the buds ?? I changed nutes as soon as I changed the light cycle ,, I have had some high temps , IE 35 degrees .

Yea im not real sure there cg but i reckon at some stage there the got severely hot and burnt .. no air flow between light and growing canopy? ... also at their age the do give up chlorophil(green colour) to be translocated to other areas on the plant

 

now latest leaves are not burning, well dont look like they are and you only got a few more weeks to go

 

if its 8 wks flowering now, but i notice theres still plenty new pistals popping out the top make it looks like it got another 5 wks , is she a strong sativa? eh

 

 

all in all i think plant is doing ok now cg

might be a lock out problem,,seems to be feeding from the leaves only.....pull the dead leaves off and take a closer picture of it ...wat lighting you got .....any air getting in there

I was told this strain is Columbian Gold x Great white Shark x Northern Lights

I have a 400 watt HPS and an exhaust fan ,, no fan blowing air around .

Looks like the light got too close, vertical hanging lamp? or some bad nute burn? Strange that you managed to get the buds nice and fat, yet destroy some of the shade leaf? Is it all over the plant?

i have exactly the same problem........air flow and tems r perfect.......i have flushed wit ph 6 water and they in coco.....feeeding on 1200ppm.........so im not sure but very instered in the outcome

What size pots are they in?

 

Could be root bound...

They are in 8 l pots .

Looking at them again ,, I am thinking it might have been due to the fact that I was running an EC of 2.8 ???

hi closet, that's more than likely, another reason could very well be poor drainage, high ec + poor drainage will certainly cause the problem, cut all the dead crap off, give them a good flush ( a couple of days worth) then start feeding again, initially with an ec of 1.6-1.8 imo, ph adjusted of course, oh and if you're using 8ltr pots and a soil based mix, the pots are too small, it probably would be a good idea to repot them to 16-20ltr pots with new medium, pity is though they are well advanced into flower and it may be too late to save this lot and get a decent harvest, i'd be just finishing this lot and concentrating on getting the new grow happening.

They are in Perlite and I have flushed em and fed with an EC of 0.8 . They seem to be continuing growing the buds .
