hey guys..just a quickie...when ya crackin seeds in a glass of water, how long do ya leave tha seeds in there after they crack....if ya can leave them in there for too long, what do ya look out for...cheers

How often would/should I flush the soil ? I use Thrive and Miracle Grow Tomato ferts. Cheers CG

here is a list of nutes im going to get any ideas good or bad are wanted. also anything you might think i should have or not... i use canna .. 1 canna veg 2 canna flower 3 rhiztonic 4 cannazm 5 pothash 6 silicamajic 7 canna pk 13-14 8 g'n't (thats what we call it) so any ideas on what i should have or not , i have always used this but the silicamajic. thats something ive been told to use from here . so teach a old dog some new tricks tt

here's a pic of some of the things I have used or are using in my GR it starts to get a bit expensive when you add it all up..but hey its still works out very cheap per ounce..

If you use an airstone with your air pump you get a lot more fizzy bubbles, but less physical water movement. On the other hand, if you take the airstone off and just leave the tube as it is (but weighed down obviously) then the result is more water movement because rather than lots of tiny fizzy bubbles youre just getting less-but-bigger bubbles Im just curious if anyone knows if there's much difference, ie. which one oxygenates the water better?

ive always started the first feed at lights on. but ive recently read material from both canna and grodan stating that first feed should not commence until at least 1hr to 2hrs after lights turn on whats the logic in this? ive been told that if plants are fed during times of rapid temperature increase it promotes elongation.

sup stoners ime thinking of making a new grow room in my loft around christmas time and i woz wonderin if i baught a tent could i grow weed in it or would it melt from the heat (400 watt hps) or have any of u got any ideas for a desent grow room without having to build owt cheers stoners

hi all i was running around like a mad chicken and when i added the silica majic to my 200lt rez i put in 80ml instead of the recommended dose of 40 ml (i.e. 4ml per 10lt as opposed to 2ml per 10lt). there 1 wk into 12/12 and i did this 2 days ago and just realised my mistake, doesnt look like there negatively affected by this double dose. but im worried. should i dump and start again? dont really want to waste the silica though so i would prefer not to! i read somewhere that excess silica doesnt do any damage? any opinions greatly appreciated

Gday Everyone I was wondering if anyone has grown LR before???? I have 5 that has just poped there heads out.... And due to the Lowryder giving away the Veg growth alltogether...and goes stright into Bloom.... Does that mean i should water it with Part AxB Bloom Nutes not the grow nutes... I just sprouted the "only two seeds" from a good amount of quality stuff. I'm not sure but,suposedly this grow was from female clones. The seeds sprouted very quickly. I don't know if they are from a hermie or a true male. If a hermie pollinated these seeds, will they grow only hermie plants or is there a chance of getting a true male or female plant If they came from a true male/female than I have at least a 50/50 chance of getting a male or female. I guess the only way to find out is to grow them out and see what happens. Regardless the stock is very good so I want to take good care. I think I should grow these separate from the rest. They …

i need some ideas on a system for my son to use .. what i want to do is make it with him and show him how to do it and look after his plants (not mj). i'm going to give it to him as one of his xmas presents then both of us can make it and put it together. But i dont know what system to do ,no probs in makeing it . i would like something were we could grow 2 or 3 differnt things in it . i think it will have to be two diff systems due to ph and c.f . e.g flowers or tomates or veg . what im trying to do is get him into doing things and leaining new things . Just a few questions. 1: I wanna get myself a nice strain, probably import something...I'm looking for something sticky, something that gets high yeild going on...not stupid high, but I'd like to be able to pull off 5-6oz per plant without too much trouble. The weirder it looks the better, but the most important thing is it's a badass smoke, and lotsa buddage. 2: Nutrients...I know very little about them...what's good to use to promote fatass buds, and a healthy, expedient growth, without fucking up the taste.
