Hi Guys started growing from seed. drip irrigation. 1 x 15min (approx 1 drop per sec) Plants have been doing fine. just about week 4 from seed. Few days ago moved the plant under a 600w hps from fluro. few days later now plants look are bottom set are drooping almost touching the hydroton. top seems ok. Natrally most would say overwatered. but it doesnt get that much and its in rockwool which is in hydroton. any ideas peeps? also EC increased overnite from 1 to 1.2 so i added some water to bring it back down. doing a full res change this weekend. could that have caused it?

this is my first grow so im really unsure of what to expect, im growing in a 1.4mx1.4mx2m mylar tent using a 600w hps my grow medium is 60/40 coco/perlite using half nutes at this stage as for ventilation i have 1 in 1 out both are 150mm ezi-fans. I set my tent up sunday and moved 4 seedlings into my tent, after about 3 days my first plant started to yellow and wilt on the under leaves, after searching around the forum ive just come to assume that its normal for them to shrivel. my second plant however is begining to yellow at the top of the plant here are some pics.. im not certain but from what ive read i think i may have over watered it? anyway any help would b…

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I started growing a plant a several months ago and it was my first time, i learned a lot of beginner lessons. I am now growing a second plant, this second plant looked interesting from the day it peaked out of the soil, the stem was purple and even now some over the leaves have a purplish color on the bottom. The plant has been growing incredibly quick, compared to it's sister. Hi Guys, Anyone who has been watching the news will know that we have been having some crazy wind and rain up around Lismore and Byron Bay and unfortunately my place has been in a power blackout for the last 24 hours IS there anything I can do? the plants are only a week into flower so I am not sure how serious the problem is.

Hey guys, I've just started growing, and have run into a bit of trouble! I had these plants sitting in a pot outside since about December, they were fine. Last week I knocked up a grow box in an old freezer, and stuck the plants under a 250W HPS inside. See here for what I have built.. maybe you can see some problems with my box? The plants were already flowering while outside, although they hadn't grown or changed much for a few weeks. I have since put them under 24 hours of light, could this be the issue? check it out fellas. What do you think? I ahvent even tried to suss it yet, thought i'd post it here for some second opinions. 3 days into final flush, probably 5 - 7days from harvest and this shows up. initially thought it may have been burn from when i misted 15mins before lights out a week ago but now i dont think so anyway, your thoughts?

Ok so here is my problem. This is my first time using a flood drain system. I have a 4’ X3’ with an 80L reservoir. I transplanted my seedlings out of my seedling tray two weeks ago. I put them into 4” Rockwool cubes flushed with a water ph of 6.5 I added 600 PPM on nutes. (Flora Nova) The next day after first feeding the leaves curled up and started pointing down. I thought I had a nute problem so I cut the nutes back to 300 PPM and other than the leave tips pointing down a little the plants seemed to perk right back up. Even my sick plant was doing much better. Now yesterday I flushed the table and changed the solution out I added 300 PPM of nova flora to the solution. A…

Ive got a real nice plant in flower at the moment but the thing is It was a mutant and kinda came up the outside so I neva got any cuttings from her while in veg. A mate gave me some seeds to try out so bought one up with my usual strain to see what it was like. It was a slow plant to start but I just kept her in there to fill in the space and now its superior to what i usually got, i'm glad i perservered with it. Once she's produced her nice buds can i take her back to veg to either get some cuttings or pune her back and keep her as a mother? Hi, I am new here and need some advice. i bought female seeds ( expensive) 3 turned out to be males !!!! by the time i relised they had polinated the rest. and my Haze crop. i need to know when to harvest .. should i do it early to save some of my smoke. the bud looks huge now, and full of seeds... i am on the 7th week of flowereing.. hope you can help.

ok i have a little seedling. it was doing good until last night when its leaves started turning a real light brown color n started to curl up. i thought i could just snip the dying leaves off but i wasn't really sure so i read about pruning last night and decided to go ahead with it. And now i gotta know if i did the right thing or will it just be a waste of time trying to bring it back.

Came home last night to find a couple of very unhappy looking girls..... Both are 32 days old from seed. The first was replanted in perlite 20 days ago and has been on 0.8 EC nutrients for 15 days. Up until yesterday she was looking pretty healthy. I've done some reading on upward leaf curl and most seem to attribute it to excessive heat. I've since raised my light and moved them to a cooler corner. I'm also seeing that new growth is coming through as bright yellow. Does anyone have any thoughts? First grow. I used thrive seedling mix. All i have been using is distilled water. My light a 100w (I think) cool light cfl. I've had a range of problems. First my container didn't have drainage. A lot of water built up, i fixed that ;D. Its under constant light. Me (being an impatient prick) put another light on the seedling ( 2 weeks in ) for about an hour. This light witch was facing the plant was a mercury cfl(wattage unknown) about the same time i outlinged the box with alfoil.
