I did a search on the forums already and i see others have asked about the orange hairs, but their questions related to orange hairs appearing on the buds. Mine are to early to flower yet, and i want them to remain vegging until they repair their root system, and gain some height etc. Two of my plants have been showing white hairs, and today iv noticed two orange hairs emerging from the white hairs. - I read on another forum that someone said its a sign of a pest... i dont really agree with that. What do the orange hairs mean when your plant isnt in the flowering stage, or doesnt have buds? also what can i do to prolong the vegging stage? Thanks

Hey all! I seem to have a few problems with some of my flowering Northern Lights at the moment, The are around day 44 of flowering. I am using Dutch Master gold at half strength as when i used it at full strength i was getting alot of nute burn. But now i have 3 plants which are getting alot of dead brown crispy leaves, they are not yellowing, they are brown and dead. I thought my fan maybe drying them out so i turned it off for the night to see if anything changes tomorrow. Could not giving them enough nutes cause brown dead leaves though? Maybe i need to go to full strength nutes but just add more water ? I dont think its a temprature issue as i havent seen it go abov…

Before i request opinions im sure the recent damage done to the root system may be a cause of dead foliage, however the problem started prior, and has started affecting brand new growth that is only one day old. So if any of the leaves display traits of deficency i would love your input. I have looked online and it seems the same symptoms equal the same deffeciency, yellowing, brown spots etc, so while i have been doing my research and have made a GUESS of what i think is the issue, no internet articles can be better than true experience from the community Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor Growing Medium: Pebbles W…

Hey guys i have 1 plant in the flower room that is not budding, its getting a little bit to big for my liking and if it doesn't start budding soon im gonna chop it and throw it in the bin!.... They are all about a week and a half into 12/12, This plant is a "Northern Lights BLUE" strain, Its very stretchy compared to the others, its also very "snappy" as in when i touch a branch it easily "snaps" of instead of bending, i dont know if that means anything? Its also the only plant in the flowering room that is sitting in a TALL 20L bucket with coco/perlite, maybe this is contributing? When i feed it gets 1 litre more than the rest cause the bucket is so big, it gets the sa…

Hey is this either nitrogen deficiency or light burn at all?http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/07/4b682c6860177f1cce64757406a08fa8.jpg Noticed a few days ago so moved light a bit further away but seems a bit worse now so I'm thinking a nitrogen deficiency but just need clarification

Hey guys and Gals, Need some information from the brain trust. Im currently growing in Melbourne -Victoria, and as some of you may know, we have crazy weather here. Some days is 13 degrees, whilst the next day can reach 37-41. I'm wondering if anyone has an tips on how to keep their plants in good condition on those crazy hot days. My plants have already taken a bit of a beating from the last 37 degree day and with this week turning out to hot again...im starting to stress as you can imagine. Is it really as simple as just bringing my plants inside? Any hints and tricks would be mucho appreciated folks. Grove

hey guys, i've been reading around the forum on max temps at plant height. i've been growing a good while now but have since changed my grow space and this will be the first summer! i've read here that some people swear that room temps can be real high, like 40C+ as long as you keep their roots cool. now in theory this sounds fine but in reality (at least mine) once the temps gets to about 35C the leaves begin to dry out and turn up at the edges, and if left this way for a day or two would turn crisp. now i'm not sure if in this state they still function at all? i'd like to know... also can anyone point me in the direction of a graph/guide on max temps for plants etc? lik…

Hello there, Coming into summer here in victoria im needing to run a 1200w portable air con unit, ducting the heat out of my 2.9x1.45x2m grow tent. My question do I have to turn off my extraction filter/fan while the air con runs? If so, will this create an odour problem? Anyone else using air con in summer? Your advice and expertise would be appreciated Murphs

Hi there, Can someone advise as to what this maybe? I just repotted into 2L pots last night with a very low feed at 0.7ec. This morning these small white spots have turned up on some of the leaves. Could this have something to do with the coca ( in the new pots) being flushed with tap water at ph of 7ish, before potting? - Also the entire media is wetter than id like due to this flushing before potting. Thanks?

Cannabis Strain: A.M.S. from Greenhouse seed co. Hi all, I have an A.M.S. that I'm growing outdoor and it was going really well, looked great besides we have a bit of a white fly pest problem. I grow a full garden of veggies, tomatoes, capsicum, cucumber, lettuce, etc. so they were all over the garden I read online to try 2 tablespoons of oil in 4 litres of water or 2 tablespoons of soap and to spray it over the plants, topside and underside. I liked the oil idea because it seemed safe but my m…

Hi all, noob newbie here, really need some help, I don't understand what i'm doing wrong? wasted 6 seeds so far (going to be outdoor growing) my first attempt, I germinated using paper towel method, then planted in searles seed raising mix in a seedling tray. only 1 sprouted out looking healthy the rest popped out but stayed at ground level. I had them in a window getting as much sun as they could get in the day, and sprayed with spray bottle (probably too much) once or sometimes twice a day...I now know that was probably too much. after about a day or two the one healthy looking one drooped over and its leaves curled together and the stalk got thin and kept shrivelling …
