smokeysmok3
Hey is this either nitrogen deficiency or light burn at all?http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/07/4b682c6860177f1cce64757406a08fa8.jpgNoticed a few days ago so moved light a bit further away but seems a bit worse now so I'm thinking a nitrogen deficiency but just need clarification
Matanuska Thunder
how well did you rinse the coco/perlite mixture before planting in it?looks like a few other grows here recently that did not rinse well enough
Knarfman
Nitrogen deficiency yellowing starts at the tip then down the centre of the leaf until late stage when all yellow. If it starts at tip and goes down outside it's either Potassium or Magnesium deficiency.Potassium will go down both sides and uniformly fill but magnesium will fill in the yellow as it goes.If the lower leaves are a darker bluey green then the deficiency is coming from underfeeding. So I'm going to say Potassium deficiency but that's just a guess from one photo.
MrCompletion
Knarfman, that's one of the best and simplest ways I've heard the main deficiencies described in a very long time. Well put. Edited January 7, 2015 by MrCompletion
smokeysmok3
Thanks everyone,Thanks heaps knarfman that sounds about right because to start with it was just the outside but is now filling in, what would you all recommend to use for the potassium
