This is regrow experimenting. 1. Plants were not repotted. Coco I'm using Dutch Fest a+b coco and Ozi MOnster, I run about half recc and my EC 2 or under. Ph runs off in a recirculating system around 5.5 to 5.8. When finished water/feed PH sits about 5.9 Tub sits just over 6. 2. I have some tiny little for lack of a better word "moths" when I brush up against the plants that fly of then come back to land. They also may have laying some little eggs that I am brushing off on these leaves that look like grains of salt but duller and a little creamier. They seemed t be layed on the underside of the yellow leaves on the lemon and maybe the curled up ones of the 3. I also a… Last reply by Sir PsychoHashy, Last reply by Sir PsychoHashy,

Hey how are you going? I'm new to growing and these forums. I've read about the cheap ballasts and what dramas they can cause and am wanting to spend a few bucks on a decent 600w digital ballast. Are there brands that you can recommend and ones to steer clear of? Thanks Last reply by Boj,

Hi guys. Busy with my first outdoor grow. Nearing the end of week 4 of flowering and over the last week i have had a lot of leaves turn yellow and die. The leaves seem to die from the tips first, eventual browning at the tips as the leaf dies. I have looked at a few of the Leaf symptom tables that are available online and they seem to point towards a zinc deficiency. Pics below where taken this morning. Last pic is off the plant food ive started using... Any advice would be appreciated. Hope i dont loose my whole plant... Last reply by pedro de pacas,

Hi all . Very new to this. First time grow. She is under 400w hps indoors and was raised via a bucket to a distance of 14 in from the light. I have been having this yellowing of the plant ever since I put her in flower cycle and have been trying to work it out as a nutrient problem. But I just had a brainstorm while having a puff. I just measured the light and it was up around 160000LUX. I lowered it so it recievies 50K to 60K LUX. So what do you think? Opinions would be greatly appreciated. She has got 2 more weeks to go starting 2 week flush on next watering but worried if its nutrients she wont make it what will happen if it runs out off nuits too early? Can you you se… Last reply by Jim420, Last reply by Jim420,

Have just found a bunch of aphids on one of my plants. Checked throughout and it seems they were camping out on just 1 branch. Rather than have to use neem at this late stage I chopped the branch. Trimmed it up and have it hanging. 1) will the aphids stay in there chewing away on buds that are drying? I'm thinking they will die or piss off as the buds dry up? 2) I've got a week or so to go on a couple of plants. Chances are that there are a few aphids in the remaining plant matter even though I went through them all with a loupe and fine tooth comb. Should I spray or wait? They don't seem to do much damage early on. Not that I could see anyway. I noticed a few we… Last reply by HomeGrown420,

Hey guys, This is my first attempt at growing. I have a 1x1m hydro grow tent with 4 seedling currently under a 400w MH light. They've been under the light for about a week but haven't really change since. They are in rockwool which I have now planted into coco coir. They are currently on a 16/8 light cycle. The fan is also only running when the lights are on. I have attached some pics. Is it too early to start add nutes to these seedlings? At what point should I add nutes? I read I should wait until I see first real leaves but what does that mean? Any help will be appreciated. Last reply by Timmybuds,

Hello fellow tokers. I am new here and so far the reading has been intense. I am into week 5 of flowering and things seem to be going fine. By fine i mean i haven't killed my plant nor has it experienced nutritional issues. I am growing in soil and bud production is very well on its way. I am feeding my plant sulphate of potash (granules) ph'd water and there is no sign of it overdosing but i have no idea if intact i am not adding enough. The leaves are always reaching up high and never wilting. The strain is a special kind of fuck knows but i am hedging my bets towards 60/40 sativa dominant. Bud production is a little slow but 50% of that figure is impatience. I will adm… Last reply by pocket_rocket,

hi all, i have a 818 headband seedling and its about 1 foot tall or a little bigger and out of all my healthy seedlings i noticed this one has a very skinny stem on it, is it normal for 818 headband to have skinny stems compared to other plants? or have i got a dudd? is there anything i can do to save this seedling? take clones from it? or how about using a nutrient to thicken the stems up? would this result in a nice big healthy plant with good sized buds or not? Need help guys. First grow for me: outdoors, planted in the ground. She's been in flower for 2 weeks. Only ferts I'd been using were blood and bone and sulphate of potash with the occasional hit of Seasol. Once it started to flower I gave it a hit of Seasol and Powerfeed (maybe too much?). Next day I got this... The photo is strongest example but all tips are showing the same signs. Thoughts and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Last reply by cardrona, Last reply by cardrona,

Hi, This is my first grow with 4 Afghan Skunk plants in soil under 400 W led lights. It's now week 5 of flowering and everything was going well with buds growing nicely until I noticed some patchy yellowing of some of the upper leaves on one plant. I've tried comparing it to other problems on this and other sites but can't see anything that looks exactly like it. A second plant is starting to show the same symptoms today. I am feeding them House and Garden soil at 5ml / litre A and B up to last week and this week I am changing to 3ml / litre. Has anyone any clues on what can be causing this? Last reply by mcudogs,
