Some years ago, I posted some pics here of a crop I had (just a small one of about 8 plants, a few weeks prior to harvest, about 8 feet tall), taken from a light aircraft at about 400 feet. A mate took the pic with a simple SLR 35mm cmaera, while his other mate flew. No special camera devices, very unsteady, very amateur right? I'd grown in the spot (I used to have a variety of spots simutaenously, with 6-10 plants each spot) for three years in that area, at that time. The spot in question was about 50meters from my house, no neighbours for miles, they got full sun all day all season, under the foot of a huge Bunya Nut tree, but in large troughgs filled with rich compst…

Hey all again. I put my first lot of vegged afghans out last night, 2 of em both 2.5 feet high. I dug em into my patch, watered em in and this morning both have been decimated. Looks like what ever ate them only wanted the main stalks as the tips/cuttings have all been neatly severed. The thing is i have some other ones in the patch skunks and sativa X's that have never been touched. My first suspicion is Rats or bandicoots but not sure. Spose I could put a fence around it but it will stand out more from above. What to do?

I live in metro SA. New to the area and very inexperienced with cannabis. Only smoked a few times and they were ready made joints from coffee shops in Amsterdam. I am after planting out just 1 plant (minimise risk of getting nicked). I live in a 1200meter block so at back I am only 30m accross with a reserve out the back. Can anyone recommend an easy growing, low smelling, lowish THC content seed? Any advice would be great. I would be looking at buying from Planet Skunk, Seed Boutique or Cannaseur. If anyone can recommend better suppliers please do. Cheers

Hey guys, I've been growing indoors for 12 yrs but I'm not as switched on when it comes to outdoor growing. I am going to grow about a dozen plants in the backyard amongst the other plants/trees. So I would like to call on the knowledge of the more experienced guys on what strains would be suitable after reading my requirements; The plants must be no taller than 5 feet. Have decent mold resistance Can't be too overwhelming in the smell department and the obvious they must have good potency and yield. I was thinking Cali-o , SK#1, Hindu Kush, C99, bubblegum/bogglegum.. ANY SUGGESTIONS??????????????????????

Hey all, just wondering what strains have you grown in the tropics. I find most go pretty much straight to head in winter but lots don't. Which ones do better during winter? Ive had some success with Mango, Big Bud X Unknown Bigarse sativa and an Unknown late sativa which revegged before finishing in late july. Thats it. The rest I've tried go straight to head even strains like Australian Blue which are surposed to be 90% sativa. Cheers Dudes Riv

Grow Australia! by Pete Brady (13 Feb, 2003) How growers Down Under produce award-winning pot under the wide Aussie sky. What's the difference between a wombat and a wallaby? According to KoalaMan, a 30-year-old former opal miner who has spent most of his adult life growing cannabis in rugged Australian backcountry, "The wombat is a tiny, furry bugger that digs massive burrows under your plants and eats their roots." "The wallaby is a miniature kangaroo that travels in packs while eating or trampling your weed," he continued. "They do vicious damage. I lost a crop to them just two weeks before I would have harvested. The only difference is that a wombat will run un…

OK all i have a plan for the next grow season outdoors with a local out bush The idea is for 24 plants in 6 plots of 4 plants in each one. The location is secluded but accessible from he property and from a longer but not trackable to hes property. It has water downhill from plot locations so im We are pondering a manual water pump up the hill (But im thinking more of an easier method hehe) now the plots them selves im thinking of 6 trenches across the face of hill with a second lined hole up hill to fill and let leech downhill into the plants trench vis soaking hoses. What Im after is some ideas for soil prep before planting time. I will be going up over eas…

This will be the first grow that I will be undergoing, but I don't plan on having a small yield . As a matter of fact I have been thinking about using the "Sea of Green" method to help me make this larger yield possible. I plan to grow some type of chronic (nothing particularly picked out yet) and also would like around 1 pound off my first crop. My grow space is outdoors and can be as big as I need it to get enough plants to reach a total of around 1 pound yield. I live in Florida and my main reason for starting a grow now is because we are just about to enter summer. Although I have a basic idea of what I would like to do, there is still the issue of what strand woul…

Im considering growing a plant or two outdoors however, the seeds I got were in the buds from a bag I bought...so im not sure if they're worth using or not, i dont want a seedy crop! Any inpute there? Also seeing as I live in Adelaide I would like to know when the best time to plant outdoors is? I know i should get em started inside, I've got a lil fishtank i can use, but need to know what the best kind of lighting for it would be? Oh & any paticular nutrients i need in the soil? im buying potting mix for em Yeh i think that just about covers all my questions...any help would be much appreciated
