Should three-week-old seedlings in a mini greenhouse have weak stems?

Should they be given food already?

what i do with my seedlings is when they have their second set of true leaves.. ill repot them and bury the stalk right up to the non jagged water leaves.. sometimes burying the water leaves aswell depending on the stretch between them and the first jagged leaves..

 

also helps to raise the seedlings out in the weather.. that way the stem will strengthen itself with the wind..

sounds like it could be two things one the plants arnt getting enough light or two the green house is doing such a good job its braking the wind causing the plants to grow weak stems

Yeah I think I'll take the lid off the greenhouse and give them some more light, I might have overwatered them a tad too. ;-)

wind is more than likely the cause of the weak stems, taking off that lid should fix them up no problems

 

as for when to feed them, wait until the plants go a lighter shade of green and then give them a small feed to begin with. soil already has nutrients in it and the last thing you'll want to do is over fertilize the plants
