Hey all, Asof next grow me and H11 will be changing our strain in our hydro setup. We want something that will have a complete life-cycle (from clone size to bud) within 3 month period. It dosn't have to be a killer yeild, just something that is going to be consistent and reliable harvest I've heard that the strain Big bud and Northern Lights is a good short term plant with high yeilds and good smoke, but i'd rather ask you guys in the forums from ya'all experience. Our setup is pretty basic... Its a 2 plant Drip system in Clay pebbles in a small garden shed size room. There is plenty of room to tie the plants down and grow them horizontal to get more yeild. Well, i was recently reading a book on Organic Gardening/Living (Michael J. Roads - Great Read! out goes the Chemical ferts) and read a short passage on Mycorrhizal Fungi. In a nutshell, this is basically a fungi that grows in soil (all over the world) and leaches it's growth onto a plants root mass and forms a symbiotic relationship with it, it gathers nutrients from the soil and forces it through the tiny roots of a plant, while getting sugar (i think it's sugar anyways) in return. Hey Everybody, How will I know when my seedlings/cuttings go into vegetative growth & approx. how long does it usually take? I think I have 1 or 2 started as they are grow extra leaf sets from the internodes.

ok i have a mate that insists that for flowering the light should be 8 hours on and 16 hour off. yet from everyone that i've spoken too and everything i'v read its suppost to be 12/12. now were just arguing over whats right and wrong. can someone please confirm whats right and wrong. cheers.

Hey guys, ive been growing outdoors because i find it exspensive to buy grow lamps and all. But just yesterday i was at home Depot and i found sum flurecent grow bulbs for really cheap. It was a fluro that was used for indoor growing and lasted up to 20K hours. It didnt say how much watts though. 1 Fluro was only 10 US dollars, and the fixture to plug in 2 fluros in was only 20 US dollars. They fluro boxes said that they radiated all of the same stuff that the sun did for indoor growing. Just wondering if this could work or not. I hope so! THX

Hi peoplel! Ok im a first time grower, im planning on growing one plant at a time in soil, purely for personal use. But I have a few questions that im not quite clear about? Q1: After germinating my seed and it’s in the pot, do I go straight to 20hrs on / 4hrs off until I want it to flower? Q2: This is my main problem, when will I be able to tell weather it is male or female because obviously I don’t want to wait all that time for one plant to flower then I find out it’s a male and useless to me? Is there any way to get around this? Q3: What is topping the plant? And do I have to do it? Q4: How much is one plant going to smell? Enough to smell it straight away if you…

well i have taken me clones in flower and they have been in my clone chamber for rufley a week and a half and 2 of my rhino clones have popped a few male flowers now i can only think that this is due to the mother plant being a possible hermi now i have checked my mother plant (white rhino) and cant find any flowers at all so im thinking that it has a small amount of hermi in it and during the cloning process i have stressed the clone out and that has forced it to go hermi. what do u think and also with one of the clones that has gone hermi i have pulled open the growwool to have a look at the root struckture and this is what i have found now does this look right…

im 2 weeks into flower and am seriously running out of room the the grow room, i use the 1/3 method of going into 12/12 but the plants hit nos, i'v got another 10cm before i'll have to remove light. can i stunt the growth or something?

How much should I use if any ive heard that it helps your plants? Is there any truth behind that?

I use two 1000 watt S/Masters under a tracker in flowering .My problem is this They are universal popsition globes and I have just been informed that if I run them in the Horizontal pos (which I do )They only give 600 watts per lamp I AM NOT OVERLY IMPRESSED AS THE SHOP i GOT THEM FROM HAS NOW CLOSED DOWN . The shop I now go to tells me I should really be using Horizontal lamps . Anyone have any infop on this .? Ps its good to find a friendly Aussie Site
