I've been growing my first indoor plants. Foolishly I decided to encourage them to flower 2 weeks before I went away (for a week) at Xmas. Just before I left, I checked them with a magnifier and couldn't differentiate males and females. 1 week later, I come back and the naughty things have gone and had sex with each other already I've learnt what I did wrong, and I know what I should've done. But can I salvage anything from this situation? (I've removed the 2 males, leaving me with 4 flowering females). I understand I can expect no more than 30% of the potency of sinsimella. I'm setting up a duel chamber affair with side by side veg/flower areas, area 1x1x2.8. 600hps china in each (not bought yet so can be altered - maybe a 400HPS would be better in the veg???), clay/per 30/70, recirculating system same as Luke Skywalkers a simple recirculating hydro setup, 250mm extraction each chamber and intake fans Truncheon meter, digital ph meter, H202, Digital thermometer, CO2 filter, small oscillating fan. Can I ask your advice on some things... 1. What is the optimal PH of the fresh water from the top tank in the recirculating system? (Is it about 5.8 for hydro as compared to soil about 6.4?) 2. A ) Commercial Growing i.e for $$$ (High Yield, Good Smoke- Resonably Fast Flowering Finish Times) B ) Potent Smoke i.e The killer strain smoker (stone or high.. duration of high.. even if low yeilder, -all about quality) C ) Easy to grow (mold and bug resistant, not a rich prick cant live out mummy strain)- all bout beginners [plz rate quality of the smoke] optional: D ) JUST YIELD.. So im looking into setting up a hydro system in my house the space is not specified yet.. What should i do to start building one that will only grow one plant at a time. im not looking for growing more then one plant till a year or so.? any help link or what not should help. Also waht should the plant be put in like soil wise? Im a real beginner at this so my fault for anything that i have repeated that is already in the forum someplace.

will be leaving the country for 3 weeks, have got a grow cupboard fitted with a ventilation fan, 250w MH and hydro dripper system set to 4 times a day for 15 minutes. 1 month olds in vegetation are residing within. What do you reckon i should do? i'd hate to come back to a (possibly) burnt apartment and cops all over my ass for the cause of the fire. just about to harvest my first grow, and have been planning my second grow. I'm gonna give DWC bubblers a bash. It seems to have have many positives, and few negatives, which seem to be manageable. Hopefully, I won't fuck it up I'm all armed, with a dangerous amount of knowledge, and one grow almost behind me. Have made up some buckets - bought a few the other day and some other things. Got the soldering iron out on some 150mm pots and made myself some netpots. Ended up also that some 290mm pot saucers I bought fit perfectly over 2 different size buckets.
