We will not be providing the CLI information to any third parties except where required to do so by law. The most obvious example of this case is when police suspect a crime has been committed or that an account has been "hacked" and is being used by someone other than its real owner. By producing the required legal paperwork, the police can ask us to provide CLI data for them to track the physical address from which the call to Bigpond was made. The whole purpose of this is to make the internet a safer and more pleasant place for you, our favourite users Segment of email sent by internet service provider.

someone told me tonight that the cops can't charge you with possession of a utensil to smoke an illegal substance unless they can prove you were going to do so, and they cannot test it for mj residue. So usually they ask "what are you going to use this for?" A lot of the time people just admit it is to smoke pot since they have already been busted. But if they didn't say this and the device wasn't packed or the police didn't actually catch you in the act chances are you don't get fined for a utensil, which may mean your fine is halfed if all they've got you for is posession. Don't know if it is true or not but thought I'd put it out there. Irrespective the old rule…

Ottawa -- Some of the first patients to smoke Health Canada's government-approved marijuana say it's "disgusting" and want their money back. "It's totally unsuitable for human consumption," said Jim Wakeford, 58, an AIDS patient in Gibsons, B.C. "It gave me a slight buzziness for about three to five minutes, and that was it. I got no other effect from it." Barrie Dalley, a 52-year-old Toronto man who uses marijuana to combat the nausea associated with AIDS, said the Health Canada dope actually made him sick to his stomach. "I threw up," Dalley said Monday. "It made me nauseous because I had to use so much of it. It was so weak in potency that I really threw up." …

The County Court was told Rosenes was on sick leave when arrested after receiving $50,000 to buy more than 15,000 ecstasy tablets from an Israeli crime syndicate. Rosenes, 50, pleaded guilty to trafficking in a commercial quantity of ecstasy, two counts of conspiring to traffic in cocaine and one count each of trafficking in cocaine, cannabis resin and ecstasy and …

Has any one around here tried it? It sounds like the strain to grow for a late starter like me. High yeild, little hazzle, good crop. But as I have been told clones are the way to go. As I'm a relativlely new I don't want to risk my money on un-proven seed stock. (And time and face) So I would really appreciate any feed back. Also other buzz breeds like Haze, Hash and G-13 look worth the effort. Is it possible to mix these species in a single sea of green?

Marijuana Can Control Epilepsy, VCU Study Finds September 30, 2003 at 12:48:31 PT Source: Richmond.com Ingredients in marijuana and the cannabinoid receptor protein, which is produced naturally in the body to regulate the central nervous system and other bodily functions, play a critical role in controlling spontaneous seizures in epilepsy, according to a new study by Virginia Commonwealth University researchers. The study, the first to look at marijuana and the brain's cannabinoid system in live animals with spontaneous, recurrent seizures, suggests new avenues that researchers can explore in their search for more-effective drugs to treat epileptic patients who don't …

A five-year-old Territory girl shocked teachers when she showed her class how to make a bong out of a Coke bottle during a ``show and tell'' session. The incident took place at a primary school in Darwin's northern suburbs. The revelation comes amid mounting concerns over drug use among Territory primary school students. At least two instances have been reported to the Education Department of children aged between five and 12 being caught with drugs at school. In one case the drug was amphetamine. Teachers have indicated this may be the tip of the iceberg. ``The little girl showing how to make a bong was the most in-your-face example of drug culture among pr…

Hey Guys and Gals, Where's all the spirit gone? No-one's willing to do more than whine about our current status as community black sheep, and criminals. Except for a few members. I suddenly realised, you hear all about anti-cannabis rallies and all of that. But how many MJ users out there are seriously willing to stand up and actually DO something about this unnesessary prohibition? I am. Give me a time, a place, and I'll be there. I'm a normal person. I'm sure most of you are too. What's the worst that'll happen to you? ATTENTION AUSTRALIA: I smoke Marijuana! Woopdee fucking doo. Wow. So what? You probably smoke cigarettes (Lung Cancer, Heart Disease, Throat Cancer). And…

Potheads are fooling police all over Oz with a new cannabis plant that looks like a carnation bush- but is so heavy-duty its nickname is skunkweed! It took Queensland police ages to work out why loads of long-haired types with bloodshot eyes were laying around clutching bouquets of the flower, normally popular only at weddings and with old ladies. "This plant is unlike any other seen in Queensland," said Det Sgt Dunn of Brisbane, one of the first cops to encounter it. "Its leaves are different and, to look at, it appears to be a small stocky shrub. But this plant is more stocky than the marijuana plant." What he's saying is that it's a hopped-up, sexually mutated…

Pubdate: Tue, 23 Sep 2003 Source: New Zealand Press Association (New Zealand Wire) Copyright: 2003 New Zealand Press Association GREENS SAY SORRY FOR OFFENSIVE EMAIL The Green Party today distanced itself from an offensive message sent to United Future leader Peter Dunne. Greens co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons sent a letter of regret and said the person who wrote the email was an unpaid volunteer who had been "unable to restrain himself". The row between the two parties over cannabis was reignited when party worker Stuart Young sent an email to Mr Dunne calling him a coward for refusing to debate law reform with Green MP Nandor Tanczos. The email addressed Mr Dunn…

Professional illegal drug syndicates are operating in the Territory, police say. One of the Territory's drug squad officers told a meeting of visiting crime delegates that there were "definitely" drug syndicates at work in the NT. The officer's name can not be revealed because it may compromise him operationally. He said the syndicates were usually headed by one major player who recruited friends and acquaintances to grow one or two marijuana plants each. Under Territory law anyone caught with just one or two marijuana plants can be dealt with by way of a Drug Infringement Notice. A network of growers could produce drugs worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. …
