Cannabis is euphorigenic. The prefix eu in "euphoria" is the Greek word for "well" and, euphoria is "a state of well-being." Cannabis helps us remember wellness a feeling that guides us back to health. Euphoria Heals Well-being is one of most the characteristic experiences associated with being "high". Feeling good feeling well facilitates healing and maintaining health making the euphoria stimulated by cannabis, a very safe, non-addictive healing opportunity unencumbered by the toxicity, complications, and perils connected to the use of many other euphorigenic substances used in medicine. In my opinion I think one day it will, or at least tolerated to an extent. Marijuana today is far more acceptable than it was a short while ago, and there seem to be scientists, politicians, heaps of people who stick up for the fact that weed is not a dangerous thing, i look forward to the day when we look back at our drug laws and laugh. Howard should pull his finger out of his ass.

Pub patrons are being taken from dance floors and bars onto the street to undergo police breathdhalyser tests. The tests are part of a police crackdown on licensed premises in Darwin which serve alcohol to intoxicated patrons. There is no blood alcohol limit in the Licensing Act which measures when a patron is too intoxicated to be served more alcohol. Acting Commander Greg Dowd said police could use the results of breathalyser tests in cases they bring against premises for breaching their licence under 124B of the Act. Cdr Dowd said police could not force a patron to take a breathalyser test. A bouncer at a Darwin pub raided by police this month said an eld…

Champaign ? The munchies are nothing to giggle about when you're ill and lack any appetite whatsoever. Then, says local Rastafarian Chef Ra, marijuana-induced food consumption might be a life-saver for people undergoing chemotherapy or enduring infection by HIV. Chef Ra, a radio host at WEFT-FM and reggae regular on the Champaign club circuit, with his 5-foot-long dreadlocks and broad smile, writes humorous columns for High Times magazine. But he said his column, and a new DVD, contain recipes for cannabis-based dishes that are written with ill, sometimes starving people in mind. The illegal drug is not generally part of mainstream medicine. The Illinois State Me…

I wish someone would explain to me the War On Drugs, or at least why we think there is one. I grant that I'm just a country boy, and intellectually barefoot, and can't understand things that don't make sense. For that you have to go to Yale. Help me. As the newspapers tell it, drugs are somebody else's fault. Mexico's, for example, which grows and ships drugs. Yep, our drug problem comes from them. Colombia makes us take drugs too. In Washington you often see Colombians with machetes to peoples' throats, making them use drugs. Sometimes they actually block traffic. The Afghans grow drugs for the American market, but it's not their fault, because they are our allies …

SEVERAL students have been suspended from a suburban Adelaide primary school for possessing cannabis. Colonel Light Gardens Primary School yesterday confirmed a group of students ? believed to be three ? had been banned for taking the drug to school. It is understood the older students had smoked cannabis in a park near the school outside school hours. However, other students at the school allegedly told the Education Department the offending students had offered them the drug. A department spokesman said it was department policy not to disclose details of the students involved. It is unclear whether the students are now back in class. Principal Raelene Taggar…

Theo ther day I logged onto here from someone else's computer, and windows has recorded what I typed in terms of my username and password. I've sinced changed my password but the fact that I typed in "pipeman" as the name is still there. Now I deleted history, cookies and temporary internet files, but say this person sees that someone has visited www.ozstoners.com somehow, (from their ISP or something or maybe some other tracking software on their computer) they simply click the box on the log in page and see someone has typed in pipeman. Now if I'm the only other person to have used that computer they now know who pipeman is. So, my question is, is there a way to d…

this is old news, but I just stumbled across it. Also it appears that Chong's website is no more. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/3026645.stm Cult film star Tommy Chong, one half of the 1970s comedy duo Cheech and Chong, pleaded guilty in a US court on Tuesday of conspiring to sell drug paraphernalia. Chong was facing charges in a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania court over selling marijuana pipes, known as bongs, through his company Nice Dreams Enterprises, and through website advertisements giving his "celebrity" endorsement. He admitted his range of glass bongs and pipes, known as Chong glass, were used to smoke marijuana. Chong's lawyers said t…

Greetings, Stoners! The rich narrative of the Australian cannabis community, with OZ Stoners standing tall at its helm, is a blend of trials, tribulations, heartening comebacks, and the unwavering dedication of its members. Let’s delve deep into this riveting tale.
Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
The Lighthouse of Today and Promise of Tomorrow
