Gday peeps looking at trying DWC for my first time, the single nutriculture oxypots is what I have been looking at. Any feedback on these or any other system that's great to get started.

Just looking for opinions from some seasoned growers. I've grown before but a long time ago using soil and this time I'd like to try hydro. Problem is I feel like I've read too much and now my head is spinning. I found a grow kit on eBay but yeah... I dunno if that's the best way to go or if I'd be just wasting my money. Hey guys been a long time since I've done this and I have a 1.5m x 1.5m tent I want to give leds a go. Anyone know if the viparspectra lights are any good for a cheap light I am thinking of getting 2 x 1000w viparspectra lights but unsure how much light I really need in there.

Stupid question but does the bottom of your pot need to be higher than the top of your waste catchment container? So with my pots on foam blocks the drain hole is still slightly lower than the top of my drain catchment, I'm assuming the pots will not drain if this is the case correct? I'm thinking I Might Have to put some holes in the side of the container to put the hoses through so its lower.

Hey im curious to how you would position 3 plants for a scrog in a 5 x 5 tent? I was going to do 4 wich would have been easy set them up in a square, but one of the clones didn't make the trip home so now im going to do 3. I feel if I did a triangle the side with only 1 plant would fill the screen evenly

Hey everyone, I’m about to drop my pups from 18 to 12 but usually I will have them in there 52 litre pots This time I don’t and was going to put them into there 52 litre pots tonight and turn at them same time, but I think they lag a little every time you put in a differrrny size pot because the roots like to grow out until find the edge and then down. Hi all. Im at day 30 into flower but I have an unexpected potential problem? I know filling out the tent footprint is one of the main goals indoors, but what should I do now that this bigger girl has done just that? Do I just leave it and let the outer buds get squashed into the tent walls? Its a nice issue to face I guess but dont want to get it wrong. Cheers.

So I’m 5 days into flushing , went to check on them today and it was limp limp like all laying down and not a solid feeling branch on whole plant , I am in small space dwc and I use wire to hold up the buds and but I haven’t seen anything like this before , anyway I chopped it down and it’s drying now but any ideas on what happened ? Cheers

My hydro shop dude recommended to wet the perlite/vermiculite mix and put the seeds straight in. Can I get a confirmation that this is the best way to go? I'm worried about the seeds drying out. Should I add nutes to this water or not until they get to a certain size of growth? I currently only have the nutes that come with the autopots (combined NPK of 4.5:1:5.6) Are these ok for a first grow? Also, he gave me a container of Cyco Ryzo Fuel. Is this something I add to the water straight away or should I wait until the plants grow?

Just wondering if anyone here has ran green planet 3 part?? Previously i ran GH but now no can do due to not being able to get in in aus, but..... was told by the local hydro that (as I was running out of gh bloom) I can just straight swap it out for gp3 bloom as it’s one and the same..... which I have done and no issues nutrient wise...... now it’s got me looking into the whole green planet line. Also looking at Hy-gen but for some reason I’m my head I’m being pulled to Gp3........ fire away at me! Iv got 6 weeks to make a decision hahaha Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

As the title suggest, i'm looking to buy a 315w CMH Ballast. I have no need for a reflector, yo-yo's or extra's, I intend to using the Philips 315/930 3100k bulb in whatever i settle on. I guess i'm looking at something mid range. As in no cheap chinese knock off's and i'm not prepared shell out $$$ for overpriced Hi-par crap. What i have found that caught my attention, is the Lumatek Controlable 315w Ballast. Anyway, looking to have about $500 to go shopping with. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a better option? Cheers
