yeh that's fair enough about heat, I just feel it needs to be addressed when talking pro points about LED.

 

That's true about quantum boards, seems the market is moving past them. But in terms of quality of products it seems HLG are right next to spiderfarmer, the only difference I can see is they are made in USA so you got the premium for putting them together. 

 

Another thing to look out for when purchasing LED is that the tech is evolving quickly. Even though you may be getting the bees knees in lighting, new stuff is coming out pretty quickly and old tech goes down a lot in price.

buy what you can afford or what you like everyone will tell you a different thing. I went to buy LED ended up with cmh I like it.

not matter the choice you make  there will be pros and cons.
