Foamy res.

After a couple of days my res starts to get a little foamy, and a few days after that it's a full on bubble bath. Also as the week progresses the nute turns a milky colour. I've been adjusting the ph every feed or two with white vinegar, and have been cleaning the res weekly with water and bleach. I'm growing in clayballs. It doesn't really seem to be affecting the plants, so I was wondering has anyone else had this problem and if I should worry about it or not? Cheers in advance.

hi to you all ,been growing hydro for last year & ive always had this same problem with the plants looking pale or burnt, ive tryed a lot of things to over-come this problem, ive tryed less food, more food, RO water ,watering more, watering less, diffrent systems, diffrent strains,2 diffrent ec meters and 3 ph pens. i am using canna aqua A-B VEG A-B BLOOM as i say my plants look pale and have a washed out look to the leafs every time i grow. i only have this problem when im using the VEG A-B and the plants are in veg,i run PH 5.8 and let it go up to 6.2 before i bring PH back down. if i give more food they start to get leaf tip burn and leafs start to get droopy &am…

Background: KBS Plants - 8600 Total lights, 8 plants total. ONLY 3600 watts of light turned on now Major Rams Horning! .... and now yellowing/sparse coloring on the leaves! Started as soon (well - maybe the next day) as the 2 foot transplants were put into the room. All room variables have been on par. (these are at any given time - they are being held stable, NOT swinging around!) Temp 70-80 humi 40-60 water - enough, but not too much IMHO! CO2 - 900PPM I put these girls in the room almost 10 days ago, and within a day - they were starting to exhibit problems. They were vegged like till 2 feet tall about 14-18 from a 1KW HPS light (two actually fo…

hey guys I just thought Id drop in and ask a question about my indoor plant which has recently been moved outdoors... it seems that my plant has just stopped budding- after going through a great vegetative stage- then what seemed to be a successful flowering effort in the cupboard has all of a sudden come to a stand still in the cupboard. and then when i moved it ouside it seemed to respond fine to the change but still didnt show progress within the last few weeks. I have used a soak to get rid of what was a small sciarid fly infestation a while back- which i thought was contirbuting to the slow progress- but now i am just absolutely stumped... anyone got any ideas to…

Hey all. Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. Since last I posted, things went along fine, other than the fact that I couldn't arrange to move my plants to my friend's place, so they just kinda stayed put and died. It was heartbreaking for sure, but I had plenty more seeds to go through. Everyone fucks up their first time, right? At least I hope so. Anyways, I had a new batch coming up, now 3 weeks or so into flowering. I had to off the male that I got, so I'm left with this stretchy girl. Things have been good. Big, crystalline buds are forming, but the leaves at the top of the plant seem very dry. I've been misting them with a water sprayer a couple times a day,…

So is this nute burn? Something else? Here's the deal. My plants are looking pretty good overall, but i just changed the nutes 2 days ago and added Big Bud, but, i used the powder for the 1st time and went by the light feeding schedule. So here i am a few days after and i started to notice some scattered leaves that look like these pics. Mostly they were on the bottom, although a few can be mid plant. Some of the worse ones either fell off or were weak and about to fall off. If you want to see my grow, go to grow diary's, called Morningstar. I should add that at this current time, most of leaves look fine, its some random scattered ones that have me worried about the prob…

Hi Stoners Got a problem with my plants, hoping someone can shed some light. They're 6 weeks old from seed, & now in veg under a 400 hps. Nutes are 'Thrive' 12.4 N, 3.0 P, 6.2 K ½ strength dosage, about 1 feed per week. Temp range is 27 – 30C, humidity at about 50%. Soil is 2/3 Yates Thrive premium potting mix (it was cheap) and 1/3 vermiculite with a little dolomite lime. I added a 1/4 teaspoon of epsom salts per 2 litres to the last feed. I am also dealing with spider mites using a nicotine spray, but they're pretty much under control, though by no means vanquished. I'm worried they have goven my plants a disease? I've checked pH 3 times with two different ki…

hey this is my first grow, the plant was going ok, then all of a sudden these brownish, yellow spots appeared on the older leaves an their tips curled under a little bit, i thought it was a nute deficiency so i flushed and the upped the nutes to an ec of 1.4. The ph is sitting around 5.0-5.5. Has anyone experienced this before? and also, does anyone know how long i should wait until i start to flower the plant?

Hi! On Wednesday, I noticed the leaves at the bottom of all 3 of my plants had turned yellow. Today (sunday), I had another look, and the leaves above have started going yellow on the edges as well. On the leaves on the very top, little specks of yellow are appearing all over as well. I was thinking a magnesium deficiency but I'm not sure. (Sorry about the picture quality) Also, on the other plants, a couple of the bottom leaves have curled up and died?

Hi all... the plant I wish to make a mum out of appears to be ill. Her leaves are very yellow and thin (see pic). She currently resides in a DWC 10L bucket with netpot. On weak veg nutes (canna), bioacids, root conditioner and superthrive. Her roots are not like the other ladies either. She's very "stringy" - with lots of short roots coming off main roots and a light brown colour, whereas the other ladies have nice vermicilli-like roots which are creamy-white. I have checked the pH and it's ok. Is it likely to be a Magnesium deficiency, and if so, how do I go about fixing her? I know it involves epsom salts... but how much, and should I flush her first? Any help would…

Hey guys, after a little advice if ya dont mind, had a look for myself but found some conflicting info, hoping one of you might pick it straight away. Growing in soil, ph is about 6ish last time i checked. I've been using Flower Power A&B nutes, only every few days though. The leaves at the top of the plant only are turning yellow between the veins, the tips are curling down, and there are a few little brown spots on the edges. From what I've read it may be Fe, Zn or Mg deficencies, does that sound right? Any help is mucho appreciated. Cheers.

Hey all, As per my diary thread here HERE, these youngins are doing the same thing as my last grow which I ended up ditching all but 1 'survivor' - the others just stunted and sat there. So I Fed these only water for about a week, then did a very weak mix of my nutes & microbial after flushing the res and they went well for another couple of days and then did this. I have reverted back to only ph adjusted water & microbial hand fed for the last 4 days with a good drying out period and they still seem to be yellowing and dying off but not as quickly and im not sure now if they are still burned or asking for some juice?
