browning older leaves with tips curled under

hey this is my first grow, the plant was going ok, then all of a sudden these brownish, yellow spots appeared on the older leaves an their tips curled under a little bit, i thought it was a nute deficiency so i flushed and the upped the nutes to an ec of 1.4. The ph is sitting around 5.0-5.5. Has anyone experienced this before? and also, does anyone know how long i should wait until i start to flower the plant?

looks like your ph is a little too low.. i get this when my PH drops below 6.0.. try having it at around 6.0 -6.5

 

those leaves at the bottom could probably come off anyways in a week or so..

All of the above plus a slight Mg deficiency, add a couple of teaspoons of Epsom salts to your reservoir, correct the PH (around 6.0 - 6.2 for perlite-vermiculite mix), cut back on the amount of watering and see how it goes.
