Does anyone know where to buy a 1m x 1m fibreglass pond to use as a reservoir for a flood drain table of the same proportions? I was hoping for something around 300-500 litres.

Hi, I would appreciate some opinions on what wattage lights to use. A few years back I used the 400's. Then I started using 600's Have never tried 1000's. Would love some feedback, and would appreciate what type of lights and bulbs. Cheers

Hey all Me and my mate are looking into the wonderful world of outdoor growing we are planning to grow out in the bush near were we live , we've had a few indoor crops nothing to major , and I was curious as ive heard a few conflicting things as to preparing your area. I was wondering if its worth the trouble of fertilising the soil before hand or if its a better idea to do it when your transfering plants over ? And what is a good fertaliser to use? Next questions i suppose would be the use of water crystals and wether they are actually worth it? i have heard that water crystals can also soak up liquid fertiliser which can lead to burning the roots could anyone cla…

2 plants every 2 wks sounds like a bounteous harvest. but the different periods veg vs bud doesn't work out well, does it? I may have to use smaller pots and have 3*2 veg and 4*2 in bud. Two spaces each capable of handling 6 pots, rotated as 6 pairs of 2. Day0 - a pair (P1) of cuttings are taken. This pair sit central in the 18/6 after probably being set aside in dark for 24hrs. Day14 - P1 move to the side and a new pair (P2) go in. Day28 - P2 move to the side and P3 move in. Existing 'mothers' are used for P1 and P2 but as of Day28 it is expected that the eldest pair (at this stage P1) will become parents. Cuttings are taken 28 days from when they themselves we…

I've heard that adding honey can produce a greater yield by increasing bud density. Is there any truth to this and is there some scientific understanding that would support the practice? Answers appreciated.

Hi Guys, I've put together a fairly rudimentary diagram of a wardrobe conversion I am thinking about putting together. I was thinking about a 250W bulb with reflector (that can be adjusted vertically depending on the stage of the plants), as I believe a 400W globe would be too much? Given I would only be growing 1-2 plants at a time, would it be worth inserting a fan into the top for circulation? At this stage I am thinking of a soil grow, simply putting the pots in the bottom with a light overhead. Does this seem a little strange? I'm guessing so, all of the wardrobe conversions I have seen on the forums have all been hydro set ups. Thanks for your help!! st…

Just got my aerogarden (still waiting on seeds) but I got my setup planned out, and I need some help for optimum growth. Goal: to produce 2 ounces of bud in 2 months using the aerogarden (between 2-4 female blueryders). Makes a nice quart a week for me The first attachment is the part of my room the aerogarden will be in (I'm not sure what will happen to the walls but I'll line it with plain paper for reflecting light + protection). The second is a view of my closet, the light from the corner of the picture is where the aerogarden is (I'm planning on using that square piece of wood on the floor to make a makeshift 'door' to cover the majority of the space). The top is le…

Hey Everyone. Been awhile since i have been on...but im glad to be back I was reading an article the other day in my local community newspaper about this, 70 year old man in my community and.... had a crazy hydroponic setup pumping some massive plants... and the cops raid him and you know...done the usual, take the plants and equipment....but they also took his red cordial, because apparently on the last 7 days before he pulls them, he flushs them with rain water for 4 days and then for the remaining 3, he flushs them with red cordial and the smoke is more of a fruity taste....... I dont no> Do u reckon flushing your soil with red cordial for the last 3 days w…

So just after getting the heads up from you lot on COCO or what I was doing wrong, I'm now thinking about an NFT system for the following reasons I have grow cupboard 800x600x1800mm roughly. I could easily build a system out of containers/tubs etc from bunnings I wont have to pull any potted plants out of my cupboard to flush them in the sink when its time to flush anymore(pain in the arse) I wont have the sluggish rates of growth that I am experiencing with soil although COCO is much faster than soil, however again when I need to flush or upgrade to a bigger pot I wont have to do this with NFT just change the water. I wont have to buy any more bags of soil or C…
