Hi,

 

I would appreciate some opinions on what wattage lights to use.

 

A few years back I used the 400's.

 

Then I started using 600's

 

Have never tried 1000's.

 

Would love some feedback, and would appreciate what type of lights and bulbs.

If you have adequate ventilation go as much light as you can get in your space; I've got a couple thousad watters donated to me that I wouldn't mind having a crack at.

It really depends on what size area you are needing to cover

 

400 = 1m x 1m

600 = 1.2m x 1.2m

1000 = 1.5m x 1.5m

 

also you have to consider the vertical height between bulb and plant will increase with wattage

 

1000s are best imo, but only if you have the room and setup for them

1000's are nice lamps to use but they produce alot of heat if u can deal with the heat go with them if not stick to 4 or 600's
