Hey Everybody, How will I know when my seedlings/cuttings go into vegetative growth & approx. how long does it usually take? I think I have 1 or 2 started as they are grow extra leaf sets from the internodes.

Hey..I'm gonna grow in a unused downstairs bathroom..aproximate area 3ft. by 5ft. I have an exhaust fan..have another fan for circulation..got it set up on a timer..I have 4 one gallon pots under a 150 watt high pressure Sodium light..Is this light source sufficient?

Hey guys, ive been growing outdoors because i find it exspensive to buy grow lamps and all. But just yesterday i was at home Depot and i found sum flurecent grow bulbs for really cheap. It was a fluro that was used for indoor growing and lasted up to 20K hours. It didnt say how much watts though. 1 Fluro was only 10 US dollars, and the fixture to plug in 2 fluros in was only 20 US dollars. They fluro boxes said that they radiated all of the same stuff that the sun did for indoor growing. Just wondering if this could work or not. I hope so! THX

Hi peoplel! Ok im a first time grower, im planning on growing one plant at a time in soil, purely for personal use. But I have a few questions that im not quite clear about? Q1: After germinating my seed and it’s in the pot, do I go straight to 20hrs on / 4hrs off until I want it to flower? Q2: This is my main problem, when will I be able to tell weather it is male or female because obviously I don’t want to wait all that time for one plant to flower then I find out it’s a male and useless to me? Is there any way to get around this? Q3: What is topping the plant? And do I have to do it? Q4: How much is one plant going to smell? Enough to smell it straight away if you…

Hello everyone I have decided I'll buy an EC metre before my first grow. I use two 1000 watt S/Masters under a tracker in flowering .My problem is this They are universal popsition globes and I have just been informed that if I run them in the Horizontal pos (which I do )They only give 600 watts per lamp I AM NOT OVERLY IMPRESSED AS THE SHOP i GOT THEM FROM HAS NOW CLOSED DOWN . The shop I now go to tells me I should really be using Horizontal lamps . Anyone have any infop on this .? Ps its good to find a friendly Aussie Site

Hi everyone, I have a few questions if someone doesn't mind helping me out I am wondering is there a point in having a resorvoir in DWC if I have 3 x 20/25L bubbler buckets? It's alot of water to mix up and I don't understand how all that water is even needed because the plants won't be fully grown for a while and surely won't drink that much water? (I've never grown before tho) Please let me know about resorvoirs and if I should have one. Also should I put a small water pump in the resorvoir to circulate the water? How does the water from the resorvoir get circulated around the buckets? or isn't that the purpose? Also should I replace the water every 2 week…
