hi all i have always placed my temperature probe directly beneath the globe on top of the plant tips (therefore it would be measuring the hottest part of the plant). i try and make sure the temperature at this point is less than 30 degrees. with the 1000w hps, this means i need to keep the lilghts 60cm from the tips of the plants. generally the room ambient temp would be alot lower (24 degrees) however ive read that you should measure the temperature away from the direct heat of the globe, eg against the wall or some other part of the room, at canopy level? and that provided that the ambient temperature at this point is below 27 degrees then it doesnt matter if the t…

hi guys, i've just joined this website (jumped ship from planet skunk) have a look at my plant... what do you think M/F? the white hairs should mean a beautiful girl right? she's about three months old, it's an outdoor plant but i move it into the shed everynight for 12/12... been doing that for 2 weeks now. i feed her a miracle grow formula on alternating weeks. havent had any pest problems but the spiders would take care of them anyway, is anybody's plants covered in spiders like mine? couldn't hurt yeah?

Hi all, I'm a new hydro grower and am currently tending my 2 Celtic Stone seedlings in my grow cupboard (1m x 0.5m x 2.1m). Read lots of good things about this strain, so I thought I'd give it a go! Hello Again. Well its been about 10 days now since my the 16 day old clones went under the lights in my growroom from the flouro. I had a couple of dramas with temps/humidity etc but they've pulled through. I have noticed that some are going a lot better than others, more growth, better colouration- just a healthier looking plant to say the least. Now my question is this... Do yous think it would be too late to pull the stragglers out and swap them with some of the other clones(of the stronger variety) that I have of the same age? Hey All! I am new to these forums, have been lurking for a few days. Myself and a friend are looking to start growing as soon as school is over this year (Year 12) and we get our own place. We would only be growing one or two plants. The problem is we have no idea what to do. I have read quite a few grow diaries and such here, but all I see is 'nutes', 'ppm' and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't understand. We probably won't be able to grow outdoors, so does that leave us with indoor and hydroponic? Or are they the same thing? Another problem we are having is the strain we will use. Hey all just a little info. cant seem to locate.. I am doing a 24"x24" x ? with a 400w hps light. I would like to make lite perm. in cab. but dont know how far to place above screen to work from start to finnish..If this is possible ? ive always started the first feed at lights on. but ive recently read material from both canna and grodan stating that first feed should not commence until at least 1hr to 2hrs after lights turn on whats the logic in this? ive been told that if plants are fed during times of rapid temperature increase it promotes elongation.

Gday Everyone I was wondering if anyone has grown LR before???? I have 5 that has just poped there heads out.... And due to the Lowryder giving away the Veg growth alltogether...and goes stright into Bloom.... Does that mean i should water it with Part AxB Bloom Nutes not the grow nutes... Just a few questions. 1: I wanna get myself a nice strain, probably import something...I'm looking for something sticky, something that gets high yeild going on...not stupid high, but I'd like to be able to pull off 5-6oz per plant without too much trouble. The weirder it looks the better, but the most important thing is it's a badass smoke, and lotsa buddage. 2: Nutrients...I know very little about them...what's good to use to promote fatass buds, and a healthy, expedient growth, without fucking up the taste. I know this is abit like asking "How long is a piece of string". But I'm going to ask anyway. Can some one give me some idea of the yield I could expect to get from 12 plants under 3 600watt HPS lights if I turn them to flower at 20" (finish approx 40"). I'm growing in 3 gallon pots with Coco and Coco A+B nutes with PK13/14 and liqued lead. The strains are 4 x Northern Lights/Bigbud, 4 Purple Power, 4 White Widows. I'm growing from clones. The seeds came from Amsterdam so I think they have good genetics.
