allrite.. now ive heard of growing along the ground by tying up your plants etc, which i plan to do this year because i totally farked up last years grow.. i want to grow a plant along the ground & when its around 8ft long.. i want to bend the main stem in the middle of the plant towards the ground & put a little nick in it & cover it with dirt.. as ive heard it can start to grow roots from there.. the bigger the root system, the bigger the plant can grow because it can uptake more stuff right ? stuff being nutrients & water & whatnot.. so if i was to have a plant with 2 root systems, wouldnt that be twice as good as one ? :scratchin oh, an…

Well u have all convinced me to start growing and was wondering what would be a good place to order some seeds from. And what strain would u recommend? I am not too into the full couchlock scene so was thinking something a lil sativa not too indica. Any ideas? Any help would be most appeciated Pillager

ok folks you will have to bear with me here 20 ltr bucket pump air pump water lid 4 bucket net cup 13mm polypipe 19mm polypipe asorted joiners elbows packet of misters now when i asemble i was going to put sprayers about 15cm from lip of bucket i was going to run the pump in the bucket with airstone and nute mix about 60cm deep is this a good set up or a dodgy 1 that i will have dramas with the plants in it..

Can anyone out there help me out with my first DWC grow? I just need to know what medium to use so I don't get ANY insects or mites of any type in the medium [mainly fungal gnats, which I HATE] I was thinking of lava rocks? How do I grow without using a medium in a DWC setup using net pots. Do the roots just sit in the net exposed to light or...what? Any suggestions and information is appreciated treestump

OK I have a rather unusual setup for those who aren't familiar the link is below. Though I grow a kind of hydro set up I know very little about hydro. I need to know if there is a piece of information available that lists the ppm's of nutrients that plants prefer in Hydro. And is DWC or recirculating systems different in feeding requirements, if so, why? Do temperatures play a part in nutritional uptake of plants (they affect fish feeding rates) Also, what does the conventional test type equipment that growers use test for? Nitrate? Phosphate? Etc. Do testers give you seperate figures for seperate nutes? With these figures, some equipment, and similar figures …

dwc???? what is the best ph to run a dwc at during all cycles??? dwc is something i want to try the only thing that throws me off is, the ph levels, the monitoring and maintaining side of things.. is the ph diff durin seedling stage to vege and then again in bloom,do you have to set it at another level in each stage.. in another system i set it at 6.1 at 9am,check it at 530pm an d its no where near 6.1 but then i can check it at 9am and perfect 6.1.. i understand this has something to do wih medium, withdwc, having no contact with medium does the ph remain level??. please help me under stand this ph prob..take care peace out someone.............

this question is completely hypothetical: lets say i bought some pot seeds from an online seed bank (i live in america, by the way) and had them deliver the seeds to a p.o. box (post office box) and let them sit there for a while. how much time would i have? it is 9 degrees f. here so it will probably be between 70 and 80 indoors. very low humidity in my state. edit: i just read the "safe seeds" post and i have already planned for actually getting the p.o. box.

I've been told if I wanna get the biggest yield with my grow, these 2 are the way to go, can you guys gimme some info on which one to use and what they do?
