rootzone accelerant

can anyone recommend a root zone accelerant which i can use to stimulate root growth? something that can be used with h202? i used to get a nice big tap root coming through the slab and lately root growth hasnt been anywhere near as impressive

Probably more to do with strain than anything.... Some strains simply have a more diffuse root system whilst some produce definite taproots....

 

Try superthrive or nutriboost, these contain NAA...Just about anything organic will be damaged by h202, but so long as you add the h202 first and then wait a good 1/2 hr, you should be still able to use most organic additives without too much trouble.

iwould not know if you will be able to use this with h202 as i have never used h202..

 

i use Rootzone Accelerant by AusHydroPlus..

active constitiuents:

2.25g/L vitamin b

0.075g/L indol acetic acid

0.075gL napthalene acetic acid

 

comes in a 50ml bottle

Like I should have said, probably strain, or in this case likely environment which has caused things.

 

@someone - your product is about identical to nutriboost and superthrive, although both of these contain other vitamins as well....

they have $17 on the bottle but i get it 4 $14...

 

i usually have a mix of nutriboostt rza and some au60 as a bit of a treat for my roots once a week in grow does this effect the growth,(auxins,gibberelins etc) ie wen igive root feed does that take the focus off vege growth and put the plants energy into root production..

rizotonic for i but there are much to choose from stick to a well known brand as it is a needed part of most grows and best for babies and getting cuts off to a good start. Edited February 21, 2006 by thc24
