What ever happen to a slap on the wrist for a couple of plants?. I'm starting to get worried. I thought if ever I was caught, I wouldn't go to Gaol. They just decreased the Less then Commerial Quantitiy from 250 plants to 49. I thought if I was well below the 49 limit I wouldn't go to Gaol. But according to this table when the limit was 250, people have been sent for a row for alot less then 250?. http://www.lawlink.nsw.gov.au/lawlink/pdo/...tlesscommercial

Straight people my age, kill their pain with perscription drugs, in some cases they are addicted for decades. They argue that the actual smoking of the Cannabis, defeats the purpose of justifying it as a medicinal substance! If you smoked bongs & pipes in the 70's & 80's to kill the pain, any chronic stoner knows that if you made it to the 90's you naturally progressed to the rolling of the spliffs. So long as you exercise and eat well the "smoking" of medicinal herbs is not here nor there, or is it? ........ Is smoking Cannabis (Bush not Hydro) a small price to pay for a natural anti-toxant, anti-inflammatory, anti-biotic, muscle relaxant, etc etc etc?

Interesting article by some wank job in today's Sunday Mail. He seems to sway back and forth with which side he is on the argument, but he makes some pretty fucked up inconclusive statements. I thought I should write a letter to the editor, simply because it pissed me off so much that I thought it warranted one. The letter I sent reads: "This is in response to Terry Sweetman's disheartening and misinformed article titled "Drug epidemic is making us all sick". I'm sorry to hear that your perspective and opinions have been influenced so sickly by your prejudices and fear of the unknown. Sadly, this is the main view held by a society of double-standards. Judging by y…

Terror bill allows 'secret' police raids Wednesday Aug 8 12:06 AEST The Senate has passed a bill which will enable police investigating serious crimes to delay telling suspects that their properties have been searched. The Crimes Legislation (National Investigative Power and Witness Protection) bill, which will now be debated in the House of Representatives, would allow federal police to apply for delayed notification search warrants. Police would not have to inform suspects for at least three months, and in some cases several years, that a search had occurred. The warrants could be issued to police investigating federal crimes carrying sentences of 10 years or mo…

Another win for the 'good' guys. What a friggin joke, if these laws aren't designed to make criminals out of people who haven't committed any crime then I don't know what their point is. Has this guy actually hurt or disadvantaged anyone? Aren't laws meant to be there for the protection of society? How many other poor slobs like this guy have been taken from their families and added to the prison population that preceding U.S. presidents (and the current muppet) have boasted of increasing every year? I read a report the other day that claimed the U.S. has more political prisoners than any other country on Earth. I dont doubt it. http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles…

"Marijuana capital Nimbin facing 'overdue' cop crackdown" By Samantha Williams July 07, 2007 01:00am Article from: The Daily Telegraph. * Police 'had enough' of blatant drug-dealing * Force doubled to cope with "rising crime" * New York-style "broken windows" approach IT'S the town that has continued to break the law with its laissez-faire attitude to drugs. But after years of open drug dealing on the streets as well as a rising tide of violence, police have had enough. Local Area Commander Bruce Lyons, the man in charge of policing the far North Coast town, is now taking a zero tolerance policy to drugs. He is fed up with the decades-old drug c…

MORE children of drug addicts should be removed from their parents and adopted out, Liberal MP Bronwyn Bishop believes. Ms Bishop, who is chairing a parliamentary inquiry into the impact of illicit drug use and families, believes the current system is skewed towards the interests of drug-using parents rather then their children. "We hear the mantra everything is done in the interest of the child, but evidence I've taken in, not only the inquiry I'm doing but other inquiries, show that lip service is paid to that but it's not in the interest of the child," Ms Bishop has told the ABC's Four Corners program. Ms Bishop said she wanted to see better opportunities for the…

Greetings, Stoners! The rich narrative of the Australian cannabis community, with OZ Stoners standing tall at its helm, is a blend of trials, tribulations, heartening comebacks, and the unwavering dedication of its members. Let’s delve deep into this riveting tale.
Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
