It's fairly old news, but I thought I'd bring to others attention about some of the lighting setups being used within Australian Sports Stadiums. MSG (Melbourne) has been at since 2009. http://www.mcg.org.au/the-stadium/stadium-operations/grow-lights ANZ Stadium (Sydney) http://sglconcept.com/en/projects/anz-stadium.html?from=map Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane is using them as well, like I'd imagine they maybe using in S.A. and W.A. to supplement the poor winter sunlight that doesn't get to the grounds. Some pretty impressive setups, especially the one at ANZ Stadium that measures pretty well the full length of the playing field. Also, if you do a search, you'd see s…

https://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/UCM611047.htm (For the record, it is my personal view that medicalisation of cannabis is a sideshow to distract us from the desperate need for simple legalisation of recreational use for consenting adults, but at least this is an amazeballs leap forward.) FDA Statement Statement by FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D., on the importance of conducting proper research to prove safe and effective medical uses for the active chemicals in marijuana and its components Over the past decade, we’ve seen a growing interest in the development of therapies derived from marijuana and its components. Proponents of “medic…

A Life of its own. A documentary looking at the medical marijuana industry and the laws and frameworks within Australia. It was a very emotional piece with Dan Haslam and Deisha's stories. It's frustrating to see what is essentially a miracle happen before your very eyes time and time again yet the Medical big wigs call it anecdotal evidence etc. When I saw it was a piece by Helen kapalos i have to say I was skeptical. She has produced some sensationalist pieces for TT over the years but this was different. Her trip to Israel was so refreshing Dr Mechoulam is an absolute hero , the work he is doing and has done is unrivaled - he truly is the pioneer of the medical in…

Hello! I’m pretty new to the forum, so I hope this is the right place to post. This will be the first one I’ve ever attended so I’m pretty excited about it! I’m looking forward to learning more about the medicinal benefits of hemp/marijuana. They are also running a cannabus from Parramatta to the expo. Cheers! Kat. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

https://scorchinghotnews.com/abf-national-spike-in-attempted-cannabis-oil-imports/ 15-05-2018 – Following a national spike in attempted cannabis oil imports, the Australian Border Force (ABF) is reminding consumers that it remains illegal to import cannabis products from overseas. Recent law changes to the domestic Food Standards Code combined with false claims from online suppliers overseas have seen a significant increase in the number of cannabis oil imports seized at the border over the past month. ABF Superintendent Emma Newman said in most cases, cannabis oil appears to be ordered online by individuals seeking it for medicinal purposes. However, the importatio…

IANAL but as I read it, this would essentially toss the legalisation of recreational cannabis out of the Commonwealth's jursdiction for the states to regulate and tax as they wish. Much as I think Leyonhjelm's choices are usually those of an opportunistic simpleton, I'm with him on this one. DATE 09 May 2018 CHAMBER Senate STATUS Before Senate SPONSOR LEYONHJELM, Sen David Bill is here Explanatory notes are here

Greetings, Stoners! The rich narrative of the Australian cannabis community, with OZ Stoners standing tall at its helm, is a blend of trials, tribulations, heartening comebacks, and the unwavering dedication of its members. Let’s delve deep into this riveting tale.
Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.
Navigating the Digital Tempests
On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
The Lighthouse of Today and Promise of Tomorrow
