sorry about the lousy pics but it's as good as I could get. Under a microscope I can see bugs on the underside of leaves I recognise but forget the name of. So far I can't see any movement under what looks like a scab held a small distance off the leaf. The critter builds this 'roof' it lives under, possibly out of excrement. The larger, so far, are visible with my lousy eyes, the smaller only just so but a decent set of peepers would probably say otherwise. I'm actually suprised because if they are what I think they are the 'pest oil' I recently used chasing out the last lot of uninvited guests is expected to effect them. TIA

some of the new growth in my plants have brown soft leaves so i investigated a little and noticed tiny caterpillar/larve, they are no more than 5mm long and you gota pry open the new leaves to see them, I was wondering if tomato dust will kill them? just yesterday i sprayed the plants with eco-neem to get rid of any bugs and leaf eaters, will tomato dust do any good? I know i can get yates caterpillar killer but other than that is my only alternative to chop the new growth at the tips just under the leaf cluster? I dont mind as long as it doesn't have a big impact when flowering starts.

Hey ive been growing for about 2-3 weeks now outdoors in pots still sprout oldest is about 3-5 inchs above soil weather hasnt been the best, anyway a few weeks ago i found this nasty small orange beatle like motha f**ker on my sprout just chilling killed the kent and searched soil for more of the lil things found nothing. whats been happening is when i go to water or check i keep finding very small orange crap on the sprout now because of the orange beatle thing i figured bugs straight away but these things dont even move which lead me to believe it could be fungi but in all truth i have no idea what i am talking about because its my first grow yay for being clueless! …

i harvested my plant yesterday, the main cola just started getting mould on the inside (week8.5) so i fully manicured it and cut out all the mould i could see about 1 sq in my question - is this going to stop it.... or is it going to keep spreading while it dries?? am i best to oven dry so i salvage sumfin? ive cleaned the whole room added another fan and tomorrow pick up some eco carb is there any other proactive steps i can take for the next run? cheers for any help budgie

i seen a few tiny bugs on my leaves today there long and slender i would say no longer than 5mm there dark colored i would take a pic but i doubt the pic would show em they didnt have wings just legs i think all the legs where on the front halve of them like head lice but im not sure if they where just at the front as they are so small.

Hey guys, I think my girls are about 1 week from harvest (this is my first crop). I have two plants in a run to waste system (their some afghan strain) growing in coco/perlite approx 50/50 Under a 600w HPS They get watered for 4 minutes every 2 hours the light is on Used Canna Vega/Flores A+B through out and PK for a week a few weeks ago I had scarid flies, wouldnt say an infestation just half a dozen or so visible adults at any one time (god knows what was happening under the surface though). All of a sudden (after a number of years), the (flowering) fan leaves would start showing brown spots, of which would progress and brown out (kill) the fan leaves. I woke up the other day an went to change the res. an there was heaps of these tiny bugs on top of the water and hanging in and around the net pots there seems to be hundreds of em. Can sumone help me identify these litte fuckers, i dont no if there doing any damage. They dont seem to be one the leaves, oh an they jump, like couple centimeters heres a pic

my first post, so hi all! i'm doing my first attempt with 3 exterior plants. I planted the seeds already late (7 July, spain) but till now just water them, and gave the nutrients. I changed to the blossoming nutrient 2 weeks ago. I was noticing that the bottom leaves where having a problem, some getting yellow too soon and dying. They start to have this brown spots from the steam to the leave, looks like rust, and then they die. Last week I went to the store where I bought all the stuff but they where closed to holidays, so I'm having a hard time seeing the plants dying slowly I attach a picture os a leave, this one is already on the top of the plant... really don't…

while repotting today I came across this mother. I don't mind bugs in m' soil, proves the soil is good. I have more of a problem if the bugs move out (shows shitty soil). I suspect however that this guy may be a root gobbler, which is pushing a friendship WAY beyond its limits. anyone know what it is? (sitting in the bottom of a 7oz glass) TIA

hi all i have these unknown bugs ! leaves these white trails in the leaf behind , about 1mm long and white . started on the bottom of the plants spreading to the top . has even distribution of them 1-10 on each leaf , not a infestation like mites usually are. they move and jump if you go near them , never seen them fly. tried a weak 1ml/L need oil solution spray but didnt have much effect medium is expanded clay flood and drain

please help, these things are in the soil they are tiny 0.5mm, they are not on the plants. plants look fine. but there has to be 1000,s of them in the soil, "gross" plants are 1 month old .im trying to get pics but it is difficult. how might i get rid of them? ive searched for hours on these things for help. they are not spider mites, there is nothing flying around or jumping. i can see them thoughout the soil because ive got my plants in clear plastic bags with many air holes. i used miracle grow poting soil from walmart, seems to drain well .
