Hi all, I know that I'm asking a lot of Questions lately but I am realizing all the things I didn't notice in research time! So anyway...what are the runoff vales of the nutrient used for and what should they be? I'm using Canna Aqua vege at 20mls/ltr PH is 5.4 and the EC is 1.6. Also what signs do I look for that the ferts are too strong or weak? The plants are already going well and seem to be responding to the new nutes well anyway... Thanks Jimbo

What, if any, difference is there between Bio Bugs and Canna-Zym apart from one being organic? Also what is the ideal level to start the application of Canna Aqua vege nutes? Jimbo

I am trying to decide at the moment what will be the best way to ensure a good grow using nutes. What results have pople obtained using either chem or organic? Do you think Chemicals will be easier to use for an outdoor crop? Will they make the buds more potent? Thanks, Tazwhacker :smoke

hey guys i just thought id ask a quick question about a nutrient my mate picked up for me the other day. its a South Australian nutrient manufactorer by the name of Indica Supreme Nutrients (ISN Supreme). has anybody used (or even heard) of them? i reckon its a good idea to support local businesses anyway- so im giving it a shot at the moment... but i thought id drop a line to get some feedback on it anyway. cheers.

i've got a sneaking suspicion i put 2ml extra of pt A canna (veg) than pt B. i've had to increase the volume of water/nutes i use due to more plants & the maturity of them (more nutes period), this means it's harder for a tard like myself to keep track of amounts. i have quite bad short term memory & i find that even when i write it down as i add i can screw things up......ie) can't work out whether the tick i add for each ml (as i add) means i've just added said amount or am about to add said amount................i've gotta get a bigger syringe imo. it peeves me no end coz i Really try to be militant in getting it right coz i know that it's extremely bad to …

OK , as in the thread title, i have a BlueLab Truncheon that , amongst other readings, has a PPM reading. the problem is that there are 2x PPM measurements to go by, one says -> "PPM(EC x 500)" the other "PPM(EC x 700)". the brackets/etc are not of my own accord, on the truncheon, this is exactly how it is written. i have no clue why there are 2 PPM measurements but there u go. quite a few ppl here use PPM instead of EC when showing what levels they go for so i want to know which is the most used of the 2 measurements. when asking an EC question a few weeks ago i was told by Sukonmi (who uses PPM) that i should aim for an EC around 2-2.4 w' a PPM of between 1400 &a…

I was reading that during flowering u should use a fert high in (P) and (K) I have been using thrive general fert and this is measured at N12 P3 K6 so whats a good fert for flowering........something i can get at bunnings or a nursery ......... also what should the N P K be for flowering stage ? P.S Im not interested in any expensive hydro ferts from a hydro shop......i just want something from the nursery Thanks jason

i've just a had a real hard bite on the arse and am not going to be able to get the dough together to make the system I wanted for this grow. I'm as broke as I've ever been in my life. i do have some great gear to make some organic mix though. I used to be kinda "hippy" when I was younger and livelier and only ever used organic mixes for many years, so it's nothing too daunting. it'll allcome back to me alright. I have some great worm castings I've had slowly maturing now for 4 years and I'd place their humus rating at near (if not compeltely) 100%. I'll just get some vermiculte, and mix some good quality bag soil in from the shop, this humus and some worm castings if…

what do u guys reckon is the best product to run in your system to deter / prevent pathogens (fungus, root rot, pythium, fusarium, scarid fly etc) as well as ensure a healthy root environment (i.e. nice white roots). rockwool environment im currently using microbial - but its expensive! the plants have pythium and scarid fly and i am seeing improvement in top growth and new white roots. would i be better off switchin to oxyplus or hydroshield (which contains colodial silver), or to pythoff?

I bought a Bluelab truncheon secondhand and it didn't come with any conductivity solution. The website says that it needs it - where as the local hydro guy says that it is self calibrating...? So who's correct? Jimbo

Hey all, this is my first hydro grow and i've got some 10 day old seedlings in 60/40 coco perlite. I am using Canna coco A/B and it seems to be going good. I also have the remains of some Nutriboost concentrate, Bud Blood and Tarantular off a mate. Now my questions are- Ive heard nutriboost isnt that good, what is a good veg booster for coco? Bud blood i will use but only for 1 week so what after that, potash? And finally the tarantular, will this alone be good protection for my res? Or after all that should i go the canna range of rhizno, cannazym, PK13/14. I know, I know KISS but i want the best for my plants So thats my situation, tell me what has worked…

I am living in the Northeast. I want to start clones after the last frost but have some soil questions. 1) Can I use a shovel to turn the soil and just use the natural earth as I won't be able to water or fertilize? * I was going to turn the soil and maybe add something to it such as dolomite lime and some nutrients! 2) Is it totally necessary to add nutrients for veg and flower outdoors or can I use 1 soil with complete fertilizers to last entire crop? WILL THIS WORK: SOIL: Outdoor soil in the ground mixed with shovel Dolomite Lime Dyna Grow Pro Tech (for bugs and weather conditions) Dyna Grow Liquid Grow ( fertilizer ) Water with super oxy ( helps ai…
