Heya kids! Bit of a newbie here today, and a newbie at growing too! I'm working on my first few plants and things seem to be going pretty well. However recently I've been getting some yellowing of some leaves, particularly on new growth. I'm a bit stuck as to what exactly the cause could be and I'm hoping someone may be able to help out. Current setup/situation: 3 plants grown from seed. Closet setup with a 400W HPS lamp, foil on walls two fans (one in, one out). 18/6 hours light. Plants seem to be getting dry every day or two now and I've been watering them as such (too much?). I've been using some fertiliser called "Charlies Carp" with most waterings (too much?). …

Hi All I have four plants, seedling really, that seemed to be doing fine until a couple of days ago. I had germed them in doors and then potted them, kept them in a crib and then put them under my lights, 600 HPS at a good distance away. I ask the question about doing this and Ferengi420 said he does this all the time. So I thought I'd give it a go. But then this started to happen...... I've now put them under the CF again and back in the crib. They've been here for the past 24 hours and have not got any worse but don't seem to have got any better. Thou there's still signs of new growth. Will they last? Or should I just start with my next set of seeds. And rig…

Hi Oz stoners,When you first use a bag of perlite and flush b4 putting clones in what should the EC be (Truncheon) or do i just adjust the Ph,I have a choice of rain(0.0 EC) or tap water(0.2 EC) but am told tap is better, should you start in big pots or small and transplant if using rooted clones,Can you use tap water straight away or do you need to let it sit for 24 hours?PEACE

Hi ya growers. Every time i grow i am either not noticing or too stoned to notice about fan leaves: Once you turn to 12/12 should you start losing fan leaves near the bottom and around the middle of the plant? By losing i mean going yellow and dying off- not too many but enough to get paraniod about. Anybody who takes notice of these things may be able to help. thanks

I had 3 seedlings in 1 pot so I transplanted 2 of them into their own about 5 days ago. The cotilydons on the both the transplanted ones are basically fallen off and the normal leaves are starting to yellow. The one that I left in the original pot seems to be doing just fine so I believe I may have disturbed the other two when I transplanted. Does anybody know if my plants will be OK? Or a solution to my problem? Once again, thanks for your help. I'll add a pic for you (not very clear). It shows the yellow tip on the leaves and the almost dead cotilydons.
