hey guys, here's the pics. they grew up in jiffy pots and were replanted 5 days ago? the jiffy's were soaked originally in half strength veg nutes, the coco they were transplanted into was soaked in full strength veg nutes and i started on full strength nutes straight away after transplanting. the yellowing leaf symptoms of the main plant shown in the pics started in the jiffy pot (they only got rhizotonic at full strength for seedlings). they are growing rapidly, but i'm worried about the particular one i took pics of.. i took a picture of all of them to show the one on the right side of the pic - the very tips of the leaves are curled down and yellow - is this over f…

Ok so here is my problem. This is my first time using a flood drain system. I have a 4’ X3’ with an 80L reservoir. I transplanted my seedlings out of my seedling tray two weeks ago. I put them into 4” Rockwool cubes flushed with a water ph of 6.5 I added 600 PPM on nutes. (Flora Nova) The next day after first feeding the leaves curled up and started pointing down. I thought I had a nute problem so I cut the nutes back to 300 PPM and other than the leave tips pointing down a little the plants seemed to perk right back up. Even my sick plant was doing much better. Now yesterday I flushed the table and changed the solution out I added 300 PPM of nova flora to the solution. A…

I'm talking about growing via dirt, not hydro. I need a product for damping off. I'd like a suggestion of something systemic and I can't afford Banrot and other professional products. I need something "hobby grower" priced. Please don't tell me how to prevent damping off because I already know the whole sterilizing, air circulating, not crowding seedlings, etc, etc, etc. I know it all. And I'm not interested in home cures because hydrogen peroxide, chamomile tea, cinnamon and all the other junk you'd find in a kitchen did not work for me. I need a commercial product that I can order. I don't need advice on how to prevent it or what home remedies you swear by. I kn…

Ive got a real nice plant in flower at the moment but the thing is It was a mutant and kinda came up the outside so I neva got any cuttings from her while in veg. A mate gave me some seeds to try out so bought one up with my usual strain to see what it was like. It was a slow plant to start but I just kept her in there to fill in the space and now its superior to what i usually got, i'm glad i perservered with it. Once she's produced her nice buds can i take her back to veg to either get some cuttings or pune her back and keep her as a mother? I'm assuming i cant take cuttings now as all the branches have flowers and i saw someone mention somewhere about regenerati…

ok i have a little seedling. it was doing good until last night when its leaves started turning a real light brown color n started to curl up. i thought i could just snip the dying leaves off but i wasn't really sure so i read about pruning last night and decided to go ahead with it. And now i gotta know if i did the right thing or will it just be a waste of time trying to bring it back.

Came home last night to find a couple of very unhappy looking girls..... Both are 32 days old from seed. The first was replanted in perlite 20 days ago and has been on 0.8 EC nutrients for 15 days. Up until yesterday she was looking pretty healthy. I've done some reading on upward leaf curl and most seem to attribute it to excessive heat. I've since raised my light and moved them to a cooler corner. I'm also seeing that new growth is coming through as bright yellow. Does anyone have any thoughts? If it's heat, I guess I'll see a return to form in the next day or so. Anything else it could be that I'm missing? Now, on to patient two.....She's been f…

Hi, as you can prob guess i'm new to growing, Its my first time and i think i'm fighting a losing battle. Every thing was great til bout 2 wks ago; i notice just a few spider mite and ordered some preditors to sort them out. Well its not turned out as planned, the mites seem to have spead live rats. One day No Webs - Today a cloud of webs all over my buds. B4 finding the mites my plants had approx 3 wks till harvest hense why I didn't use any sprays and went for Phytoseiulus predator mites, Could the webs be from the Phytoseiulus???? If NOT how can I get rid of the spider mites ready for harvest??? Will a good Vacuum and a Wip down sort it out or will I ruin my plants. P…

First grow. I used thrive seedling mix. All i have been using is distilled water. My light a 100w (I think) cool light cfl. I've had a range of problems. First my container didn't have drainage. A lot of water built up, i fixed that ;D. Its under constant light. Me (being an impatient prick) put another light on the seedling ( 2 weeks in ) for about an hour. This light witch was facing the plant was a mercury cfl(wattage unknown) about the same time i outlinged the box with alfoil. The result was terrible: http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/898/image037fcu.jpg I transplanted to a bigger pot. And i should probably restart. But getting new seeds will be a problem. Any ad…

Hi, I have grown plants outdoors in the past where i have done quite well - 6 pound from 2 plants - (NOT bullshit these were by far the biggest plants i have ever seen and was stunned by them myself) but this is my first time growing indoors and i have a few questions. Details of current growing I am growing in a cupboard - coz i dont have a room available and im not a stupid grower (making rooms in my house disappear). I have bought a cupboard to grow them in which is 2m tall, 1.5 across, 750mm wide (wardrobe). I have 2x 400w sodium vapour lights in the cupboard (i know these are for flowering not for growing but its what ive got) I have installed fans for in tak…
