Hey guys. I'm about 4 weeks into flower now and the buds are developing nicely. a couple days ago, I was doing my weekly flush and as I'm draining away the excess water and i notice a little group of white things grouped up. It aint roots, coco or perlite, so I go in for a closer geeze to see tiny little white larva, some of them are just chillin, others are swimmin around a little, and a few when disturbed kinda fly up out of the water before failing and landing back in the water to chill again. For the last yew years I have been using perlite / Clayball in a recirc system, so these kind of pests are foreign to me. After trolling the forums over the years, I was pretty…

first grow for 25 years 3 diesel ryder ( regular seed ) outside in pots. thought I might get some quick weed while waiting for the main main season ( wrong!!! ) planted in march 3 puny, stunted weird looking, leggy shitty little things. 3 leaves shaped like pan's hoof. all had ball bags puffing pollen everywhere. They looked like some sort of mutant paspalum. I threw them in the compost heap at 6 inches tall & 65 days. wtf Did I plant too late or was I looking at some sort of mongrel ruderalis ???

Hi guys, im Van. Used to be a member but havent been on for ages and forgot my p/word so had to come back as a newby. Got a problem with a few of my girls - leaf necrosis that started out as a suttle discolouration and has become bad necrosis. Neglected my ph in the way that I would bring it down to 5.7 one night and then not attend to it the next night and then the night after that it would hover around 6.7. Am on top of it now but symptoms seem to be worse. Thought it was a Calcium deficiency because of its original look and my high ph but since have added Calcium and monitored ph closely and has gotten worse. Im stumped. I run Coco and perlite - mostly coco, run to…

So basically all was going well, I'm running 4 powerplants started in rockwool then placed in 30 and 50l pots under a 1000w HPS cooltube which keeps the temps good. All plants looked beautifully healthy in every way. About 4th week of flowering (ph 5.8) one of my plants had a branch that started to wilt and curl up overnight for no apparent reason. I gave it a flush and I wasn't too worried as it was only one branch, then over the next two nights the whole top half of the plant was lost to it. There are two branches left alive on that plant. Then for the next two weeks all is good until today I noticed one of the branches on one of my bigger plants was wilting and cu…

Hi, I am just about to invest in some green lacewing in an attempt to annihilate the spider mite and white fly that are killing my plants. Does anyone out there have any idea if they are effective?? I have tried neem oil and kelthane as well as confidor but they just keep coming back and are driving me ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!! We are growing outside and trying my best not to use chemicals but, these little buggers just keep on coming. Any thoughts and or suggestions would be most appreciated. I don't want to waste our money on expensive little bugs (that are apparently native already) but, i feel like i have no other choice. Experience here anyone PLEASE

To All (w/ respects) So i've just started my first grow, I've got 1 seed (I did not germanise the seed) in a large plastic container with regular backyard soil (was crushed so that is not clumpy and lightly placed into the container so it was not compacted), the container is filled with foil to reflect light and i have a single 42 watt CFL and i know that it's not enough but it's all i've got and i'm working on changing that soon but for now its my circumstance and i realise i do need more so don't dwell on that matter. I'm also keeping the water moist and the light on 24/7. I am unaware of what type of seed it is and i have no fan but am getting one small battery power…
